I called it a Craterhoof behemoth counter
Though Triumph of the Hordes can get around it with a Leyline of Punishment effect. -

Rezzahan posted a message on At the beginning of your draw step triggers and MiraclesActually, you can decide the order. Revealing the miracle card happens before triggers go on the stack in the draw step, because it is part of the draw turn based action (as modified by miracle). This causes a trigger, and since there are two triggers now, which you both control, you can decide their relative order on the stack.Posted in: Magic Rulings -

pierrebai posted a message on [LCI] [SPG] [RVR] The Preview Panel at MagicCon: Las VegasPosted in: The Rumor MillQuote from Grixh »However, the one place where it does better is with 1 damage effects, which there are currently quite a few of in Standard.
Well, it could create an archetype on its own with unruly catapult: tap catapult for 4, play a burn spell for 4, untap catapult and do another 4... that's a dead opponent is very short order.
Edit: for even more all-in, replace the burn spell with a pair of giant growth to deal a total of 21. (4 + 7 + 10) Then again, tyvar's stand fills all of the untap / pump and protect role in a one-mana-or-more card... -

pierrebai posted a message on [LCI] [SPG] [RVR] The Preview Panel at MagicCon: Las VegasOjer in modern storm would make every strom copy of grapeshot deal 4... at 4 mana it is probably too slow, but wow, that would be some value.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
The new Galta could be insane in a reanimator deck... - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Player A: "I equip my legendary Hobo with Rutger's Shotgun, and swing at your Trailer Park Boy"
Player B: "I respond by attaching Cerebro to Spock, and activate Mind Meld targeting Hollywood Hulk Hogan equipped with Vibranium Shield to remove your hobo from combat"
Player C: "Wait a Second!...Didn't I still have priority to Quantum Leap Mister Peanut and The Monopoly Man when you planeshifted to Trump Tower?!
Player D: "Sorry to interrupt as well, but how many Golden Girl tokens hit the graveyard when you blocked Urkel and Rambo last turn?
Player E: "Honestly, even if you all had The Delta Variant to target me and T-800s equipped with Lightsabers to protect you, I'm still crewing The Delorean with The Cigarette Smoking Man now to go back twenty turns and restart the game."
<all sigh>

My advice: Only buy groceries on sale, in bulk (plan/prepare for meal options in advance, maximize freezer space), compare flyers for different stores, learn to spot the "red herring" sales on lower value items (which still don't have a good healh, flavor profile, culinary adaptability, and mass to price ratio). Also, bike to save on gas and parking fees (if you can safely and confidently balance the weight on your handlebars for the ride home). That's what I do, and it works wonders. You always eat well, and feel the added satisfaction of knowing you did so at a discount (usually by at least 40%).
You'd be surprised how much money you'd save to

This card is good, but we already got a strictly (much) better edict.
How quickly we forget Liliana's Triumph!

Also, was it just a coincidence the lion was done by Howard Lyon?

If only the art featured a Rock 'n Roll Moses throwing guitar-shaped tablets (of the ten commandments) at a crowd of fans with Dathan and the golden calf at the center of the mosh pit. Then, I might have actually ordered this!

Couldn't they have asked Drew Tucker to do something for less commission instead?
Honestly, I wouldn't sleeve this card in a deck even if someone bought me the playset and had it signed by the artist.
All I would want to do when drawing or seeing this is exile it to a non-visible zone outside the game (box or binder)
