Anyway point is even if Iso is scum, which given Vaimes almost certainly being town now is very likely the case, he's still not as good of a lynch because there is 100% to be at least one scum between Rod and Tubba and solving that before lylo is incredibly important.
really? I'd lynch Tubba first if that's the case. what makes you so sure Rod/Tubba are a dichotomy though?
@Iso, @dawn, @dota : Please reread Vaimes and tell me what you see town about him?
This isn't town paranoia. It's scum trying to push on a lynch outside the poe because they are losing any other way.
There is just no chance that Iso is scum here. If betting wasn't illegal, I'd bet something on it.
I have a townlean on Vaimes for how he went along with the townblocking. scum wouldn't want to townclear so easily. another thing is that he was pushing Rumanshi (scum would've stayed away since he practically drove his own lynch). hmmm that means Iso is possibly town too.
Surely you can figure out why it benefits him to shoot an unknown. He can't very well announce that he knows Vezok is a mason and have Vezok shot in the night. Instead pocket Vezok, pick up pails full of towniness, and fire into the crowd and see what happens. How would you have proceeded as scum!Iso at that point, with one confirmed mason? Why would you kill them when you can track their interactions and try and unearth the other masons? (Which is exactly what happened btw)
how does that benefit scum? makes more sense to shoot masons whenever you find them, especially in this kind of setup.
anddd I think the scumteam is just in Tubba/Rod and one of someone else. Grape/Vaimes?
my claim is Eclaire Benes a friend.
(on the side: I really dig those Vaimes posts lol)
Caught up on reading, I'm back but for the next few hours only kinda (day with family)
I see we're outed which is a relief of sorts, I kept thinking I was going to give it away (which I guess I did).
There's been far too many town late in this game, every remaining player outside of the mason team has had someone say they are undeniably town by someone else. When I have some time later today/tomorrow I want to try and pull together a list of who has towncleared a player and why. There has to be an illogical clear floating around.
long time no see. hope you've been contributing to the mason chat. might be best to work without the townclears, just the masons.
So. I'm still in the camp that there were two scum on the wagon and one off, unless the scum are exactly in tubba/dawn/mikey. I doubt it's exactly those three because because I doubt Mikey is scum.
we can also say there were 2 masons on the wagon. vc analysis works more with teams afaik - not specific alignments.
as for your reads.. the most I can agree on is the read on me. I haven't done much, and the only significant thing is my derping - due to me being new to this kind of setup....or the mason shenanigans. but, it also feels like an obvious read.
what is the Tubba/Iso/Grape scumteam based on? from your post, it looks like they're all just hard to read, without actual connections.
why didn't you mention it when Grape kept up the mason cover longer than you expected?
@Grape
I don't understand what you mean by connected, but I'm starting to see it in a new light.
@Sentenza
idk Rodemy well, but Rumanshi is an example for how town might post.
looking back at my previous reads, I'm probably down to Tubba/Killjoy/Grape with a chance of Rodemy. Iso stays in nulls since I'm positive/negative about him.
@DBS what is a bomb in context of it being a bad thing to lynch?
bomb can take out town by a lynch? if there's another scum out there, then we're really cutting it close if we mislynch afterwards. .... could explain why Proph/Shadow gave up so easily.
@Vezok
outing isn't worth it unless cc'ing a fake claim, let scum continue shooting in the dark. then again, mason covers... do whatever is best for the setup .-.
ok I'm back. sorta. actually typing from the grave atm lol
never thought D1 would end so quickly, haven't seen that in all my 4 games here.
the nightkill was..not bad.
a mason claimed... so is the cover thing still a thing?
Emcee retracting his mason claim looks believable. don't see scum doing that if it'll make them stand out by the next day.
Grape should drop the mason stuff, since that's getting in the way of scumhunting (at least for me). his emphasis on 'being a mason cover' feels obstructive. I have a record of scumreading his ideas though, so I'm really cautious of that.
I'm getting around to Vaimes being town, since he's looking to townblock.
Iso/Rumanshi were off on the wrong foot. 'chaos is good for town' is sorta based on the idea that agitating scum is usually a good start for D1s - the term is not something I would use though. with that, I'm not sure where it places Iso. his main debate was with Rumanshi iirc, and then the day ended after that. not enough to have a read on.
after rereading that 'catch' I had on Rodemy, and checking back on how the setup runs, I guess it's not much of a catch. still like his early posts though, they feel too gamesolve'ish for a starting point.
DoTA preferred to flip Emcee over Rumanshi, since it would be more informative, and that's some thought that I don't see scum putting in.
Tubba/Sentenza/Killjoy are... mixed impressions for me. don't even remember Tubba.
end of post:
gonna reread Tubba/Sentenza/Killjoy/Iso/Grape.
back to my headaches. oh and it would be cool to find some questions for me later
@DBS: What's your Sanity at now? And Tom still can't be scum without Cantrip, which still makes Cantrip the correct lynch before Tom ever would be.
As far as the final warning or whatever, that was pretty much just for you dude. You have been really chippy toward other players on what is essentially a personal level, and that kind of thing doesn't fly here. I can't tell you how many posts I wrote to LW yesterday and then just deleted them because they served no constructive purpose. That's what we expect on this site. Plus, isn't this like your second game here? No one from here should be able to get under your skin that quickly.
1. currently at -1 sanity. if Cantrip is bomb though, it makes flipping Tom a better choice.
2. all the more reason I disagree with the co-host then. it should've been directly addressed to me, and via pm. leaving a vague notice, with real consequences, does no real job of keeping the actual person in line, but only serves to 'punish' everyone at that person's expense, making ganging up a likelihood (should any threats be carried out). as for me being an ass, you can confirm with the others, I'm usually like that.
Somebody find out if the owl statue is trackable/watchable.
Please do that.
Cause there is a contradiction here, no matter what the answer is.
And if it's mod error (again), I will light something on fire.
it should be.
if there's any contradiction here, it would be Tom's results. should review his check on Terry. Terry was vandalized, and Shadow/DoTA didn't have any such ability?

I will be back
gonna sleep~
and it would be cool if you don't go crazy in ending the day again x.x
.... can we not speedlynch anymore?
long time no see. hope you've been contributing to the mason chat. might be best to work without the townclears, just the masons.
left a post to get reactions for when I returned (lazy mode).

if it was a newbie scumteam, I doubt they would NK a lurker first.
I don't understand what you mean by connected, but I'm starting to see it in a new light.

Vote: Killjoy
for counterwagons
how did Vaimes and Tubba end up voting each other?
I'd like to replace out
