    Wait, actually... Killjoy claimed something?

Had assignments to do and left forum stuff on the backburner until today. Looks like I'm too late?

I don't see why Jack was on the table, unless it was because of playing martyr? Not really following Jack's thought process, but it doesn't look scum-indicative either. NAI at best.
Looks like nobody had questions to ask me. Was my slot resolved already? I did say people could ask me questions.
Killjoy is a townlean to me, for the record. Last seems to be a townlean too. Vaguely remember Rodemy was questionable, but that could be because of a different playstyle (at least from my memory).

Nice profile picture by the way @Last

Skimmed through my predecessor's posts. Some reads are opposite mine, mainly KJ. Really? Some useful posts though (to me).

I'm trying to decide if it's meaningful. Jack doesn't seem noticeably stronger toDay than D1. The random announcement that he was going to tunnel Umami again was very underwhelming...

The lack of more day happening before GJ softed is frustrating because there is so little to analyze. Like I can dig a little into Axel actually trying to analyze Tubba's posts as a good look for him but there isn't much of that.

I think tom's stubborness here that we should solve this another day is probably townie (ignoring the paranoid part of me that thinks he's just trying to buy Tubba a day to fire a night action here).

    Top of head reads:

    Grape
    ZDS/GJ
    Umami/Shadow
    Tom/Last
    Axel
    Rhand/KJ/Sloth/Rod
    Vaimes

    Jack

    Tubba

This is a guess at the book characters? vvv

    1. Grapefruit21 - JR Smith
    2. ZeDorkSlipeur - Jordan on the Wizards
    3. Gentleman Johnny - Draymond Green
    4. Rhand - Damian Lillard? Paul George? Regular Season Shaq? Don't feel great about this one
    5. Jackrito - Shaun Livingston
    6. TubbaFett - Kendrick Perkins
    7. shadowlancerx - Rudy Gobert?
    8. tomsloger - I had Jimmy Butler but tom rightly pointed out the competitiveness is out of whack. Dr J maybe.
    9. Vaimes - Dirk or Kevin Love depending on how strong a comp you want.
    10. Lastwhisper - Rasheed Wallace
    11. Umami - Ben Simmons
    12. M plus 7 - Kyle Lowry Sloth - Pat Beverly
    13. Rodemy - A better Jeff Green?
    14. ITF - ??? Elgin Baylor?
    15. Killjoy - Gordon Hayward
    16. Axelrod - Kemba Walker?

Like, I thought Grape's scumraed of me didn't feel very genuine, but that's really the only thing that stuck out to me from his posts before replacement.
DBS's reads in her only post are easy. I specifically don't like how I'm town for "being like ZE"
Her reads rn are probably as ill defined as mine are though, so I'm giving her more time.

Vaimes asked a lot of decent questions in the early game, but I haven't really followed as much as I would have liked since then so most of his posts are not in any proper context.

Sloth started out doing nothing, which was a thing, but then he did stuff and I havcen't put those in context with that yet so no read there.

Jack was easy in the last game, not that easy this game but that doesn't mean anything specific... but now that there's a decent amount of clears we can work with I can put those in context as well.

It's just a lot of stuff I haven't done yet. I'm working on it now. It'll take a bit.

Don't need to wait for me to catch up. I'm admittedly lazy when it comes to backreading, easier to read forward. Start of game is usually the clearest, so a bit of backreading should suffice for me.

As for why I mentioned you in ZE, I guess it's tone(?). I'm not good at tone reads, so hmmm.. Might be something else. Your posts from early on were looking into the intent behind the formation of each post.

    -----

I would suggest asking me questions, rather than waiting for me to catch up. Part of the reason I didn't mind replacing in is because I rarely rely on backreading beyond what is necessary.

Skimmed up to page 5. Think I'll leave it that way(?)

Umami seems town. Same for Killjoy.
I saw Umami mentioned Vaimes was clearing players. Agree that scum attempt to shade, not clear. Don't remember Vaimes much, but inclined to give a townlean by extension of Umami. Around the 200th post or something.
Killjoy's posts seem like in ZE, so I'm thinking town.

Last (I prefer calling him that) also looks fine. Posts still seem unlike him, from what I remember. Scum!Tubba piling an RVS there looks....like he could be town?

Only saw Grape (my predecessor) post once. Looked bad.

Would appreciate a rundown of things. Gonna backread, I suppose.
    Oh hey Phraze.

I'm up for the chopping block along with Jack.
Tom conf!scum. Rhand was desperado who shot at him earlier today.
Shadow/ZDS/GJ are lock-town to varying degrees.

    Are you scum? Be honest.
    This is a pointless question.

    Greetings, MTGS. I have returned!

    jk

Hopefully I won't add to the barrage of posts already present.

Disclaimer: Haven't been playing mafia for about a year, so I may have forgotten some things. Additionally, I won't be as active as you last remembered me. Also gonna write in forum style. Grammer fixes, etc.

grats to the winners. nice to see a mention from Azrael.

I think Zero Escape was worth few spots. interesting setup and playerbase. lotsa posts for this site. a bit town-sided tho, especially if the reviver survived. scum!tomsloger had a good role that was never used iirc, so maybe it wasn't that unfair(?)

Friends & Enemies was another good one. mafia could've won had I rep'd out earlier or just got over some mental blocks. missed that lylo since absent from discord, or town wouldn't have got away with lynching Iso. salutations to town!Grapefruit for being honorary scum (or the one who did most of the work for us). the 2-man scumteam, technically since I was spaced out, were pretty good.

Arkham Horror was indeed flavorful... creative! but the anon accounts were kinda.. a pain to switch to. shop and death wills were unique. ugly experience when it came to host secrecy tho - lots of unsaid things in roles, or those that needed clarification. enough badgering for the host to end up clarifying in-thread few times? the last straw was glorious when it resulted in having me modkilled after requesting to replace out. lol

    personally liked Emperor Mafia setup.
Haiku Mafia might get a mention for the most painful way to play~

dunno what else to say. haven't been here for a long time. I guess what I've tried so far has been unpleasant (apart from the first 2 or 3 games), so idk could be me. been more open to trying out new sites after this tho, that's an achievement - sites outside of dA and MAL.

first half of my performance was my usual play, I guess. later on I was dragged down by...things, and couldn't really put in any effort. didn't open this site, and whenever I did it was always night. wanted to replace out by D3, but thought I could handle it, and I repped out from another game so I didn't want to overstay any generosity. meh. from feedback I guess my play was going good so, sorry that I couldn't live up to expectations (of a scum allkill). then again, scumteam technically won by D4 considering majority and lylo.

won't be playing for a while if that makes anyone feel better Smile

    @Grape
I didn't take advantage of my differences, and I did describe the way I saw things in detail (especially since my views are more backwards from ordinary). for everyone to ignore my cases simply because I think different, is biased and lazy. of course I won't take kindly to it. but thanks, I've had it good since my first ever game.

*and, I was talking about the mason cover in terms of how good/bad/whatever it could be, not whether it is bad or good (since idk which). such a strategy wouldn't continue uninterrupted if all were town, if scum knows how to think. lack of interference, and the /encouragement/ of a seemingly /good/ plan, means scum must be onboard.

As for the game the Tubba/Rod thing isn't a dichotomy. It's more that the PoE doesn't allow for both of them to be town. Dota and Vezo are town. You're town.

That only leaves Mikey, Vaimes, Iso, Dota, and Tubba. And Mikey, Vaimes, Iso is definitely not the team.
    1. I see. so you mean there's 1-2 scum in there? thought you mean the flip would clear the other.
    2. I'm still curious about you and Emcee about the mason cover talk. Vaimes also pushed that idea as a 'correct way to play', so that's another thing.. there should be scum in Grape/Emcee/Vaimes. don't think all 3 are town.

Correct there is always at least 1 scum in those 2 and possibly 2.
What about the mason cover talk is interesting to you still? I agree it's the correct way to play. It's why I did it from D1. What about that group of 3 makes you think we can't all be town? Other than it being almost impossible for a group of 3 not containing yourself to not have scum.
    1. ok.
    2. the way it continued on for so long without much objection means scum are probably in the mix. even if it's a good plan as you say, scum would still join in. and I don't see how it's impossible too, Grape/Iso could still be scum.

my claim is Eclaire Benes a friend.
(on the side: I really dig those Vaimes posts lol)

I'm guessing that's Elaine and an autocorrect? If so continuing to dig the flavor.
yeah. autocorrect in my head lol

also I think this needs clarifying... while I don't see myself puking derpclears in a game, I can see myself being forgetful or just plain assuming something without asking the scumteam .-. (if I had such a skill, I actually would utilize it as town more often to get them off my scummy ass)

    Vote: Tubba_Fett
    for that weird theory
