(Literally just did, Bur confirmed that using a targeted ability will return if you successfully target that person) Or if they already used an ability they should know generally what the message they got would say anyway. A less insane and more useful look at numbers would be to just think about what the mystery abilities could cost and see who could do them based on that, accounting for the possibility of different BP game actions in games where the results are not from flip-confirmed players. You can add in people who are likely town depending on how much you trust those reads. All of this would be strictly more productive than speculation based on the idea of there being a bastard mod.

I still think Phoenix should've allied while betraying you (on Night 3?), if you were his townread. there's no need to keep so much BP when his ability doesn't require anything, while yours depletes BP. why ask you to get +1 when you could get +3 instead?

Agreed that Tom and phoenix sitting at 8 and 10 BP is ridiculous. There have been plenty of good motivate targets theoughout, and there is no reason for Phoenix to accumulate BP, iirc.
