    Hi,

Late reply but this is the first time in over a year that I am checking this forum again Smile

Your deck idea makes me think of a Commander deck that I built a while ago. The idea behind it is that you win the game by using other people's cards, so it doesn't really have any win conditions of its own. The deck is not so much about stealing permanents (although there are a few cards in there that do), as it is about playing your opponents' cards from their library or from exile. You could say that this is, in a sense, 'hacking' them Smile

Of course Commander and Modern decks are completely different animals, but perhaps you can still find some inspiration here.

The biggest change in the deck was the number of land. I noticed that increasing the number of land will help me conserve Traverse the Ulvenwald until I search for Soulflayer instead of using it early game to search for the second land.
Overall I think this deck has the best balance between speed and consistency compared to my past decks.

Congrats! And interesting take re: land count. Might have to try that myself.

Still on the fence about the Chancellors though. What makes them so good? Does the potential opening hand life swing really make it worth playing them instead of creatures with more / more relevant keywords?
