Butterqup posted a message on Beacon BoltReally dislike this card on so many levels. The spell itself exists on the stack and will never count itself toward the damage it will deal. Sorcery speed conditional removal in 2 colors is rough, especially at 3 CMC. Cast on turn 3, barring surveil or looting, you're likely to deal at max 2 damage to your target. Beyond that, higher curve creatures are likely to have much higher toughness than you are able to put instants and sorceries in graveyard/exile in order to deal with.Posted in: Beacon Bolt
