HolyProxyBatman posted a message on Terror of the PeaksOh, I agree completely. I rarely play Constructed competitively for this exact reason. I'd much rather play my Dinosaur deck against my friend's Bear deck. Or my (Singleton, nothing newer than 5 years old) BW Human deck against my friend's Ooze deck. It's just more fun.Posted in: Terror of the Peaks -

Would love to see a lanterns variant with this and aetherflux reservoir, shredding lands from the top of your library to keep the “storm count” going (gaining a net positive in life gain) until you burn your opponent for 50. -

Rosy Dumplings posted a message on Vraska, Swarm's EminenceThis card might be pretty scary in limited. Outside of that, it's a decent demonstration of how uncommon walkers should work.Posted in: Vraska, Swarm's Eminence -

k0no posted a message on Every booster will have a planeswalker in WARPosted in: The Rumor MillQuote from AtraxianShade »faux outrage about literally nothing.
i mean... not to put too fine a point on it, but there clearly was an issue, whether you personally deemed it significant or not.
you think it's fine? sure. That's allowed. That's completely your opinion and while we can challenge your opinion in fair, good-faith discussion, you are welcome to hold your opinion and it's valuable to hear you explain why.
other people think it's not fine? you have to logically concede that there's an issue even if you aren't affected as an individual. Just because you're not offended doesn't make something OK. telling people not to be offended, or that they are wrong to be offended (or in your comment above that their offence isn't even real!) is not a reasonable stance to take. You'll want to sort that out.
and to get back on topic, I don't think this non-story issue has anything to do with Garruk's apparent absence. I think in the story he was off gallivanting around trying to fix something on another plane.
Davriel Cane - I don't know anything about him, but damn that's a sweet look. straight into my top three! -

Rosy Dumplings posted a message on War of the Spark: Foil Planeswalker in Every Prerelease PackDude... non-named planeswalkers kind of defeats the point of planeswalkers.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
They aren't like wizards or shamans. Every planeswalker is "special" and has a specific story to tell with where it came from, how it ignited, and where it went.
Let's not forget that the framing device of the game for a long time was that the PLAYER was a planeswalker wielding tremendous power. Turning planeswalkers into something so commonplace that their individual identities don't matter would kind of be... trivializing it
While I've heard people speculate they changed the planeswalker rule specifically to prepare for this... that doesn't make any sense, either. Unnamed planeswalkers wouldn't have a subtype or name and therefore wouldn't be affected by the old planeswalker rule.
The closest thing that I could imagine to this is a possible planeswalker card for a walker who is actively hiding their identity (a la Blind Seer), in which case we may get a (still legendary) walker called "The Laughing Man" or something. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

T0: Put this down.
T1: Breeding Pool (untapped), Birds of Paradise
T2: Land (tap for U), tap Pool for U, tap Birds for UG, cast Freed from the Real (for UUG), spend last U to untap Birds, tap it again for UG, spend U to untap Birds, etc., until you have 800+ mana, spend on pump ability, swing with 100/101 flyer?
Did I get that right?
