I also really like how Lorehold has been handled both design and flavor-wise to keep it different from Boros.
He also said that some majors would be split between two or more schools (i.e. someone with that specific interest would have to do courses in both), for example I would say that my own research subjects (bioinformatics, genomics, evolutionary biology) would be a split major between Quandrix and Witherbloom. I'm also surprised that he stated that meteorology would be Witherbloom, when it is a very math-heavy subject and fits much better in Quandrix in my opinion.
Agreed. Lorehold has been the surprising one for me. A pleasant one. I wonder if creative writing would fall within Silverquill or Prismari. Maybe an overlap of the two? Does Silverquill write the plays and Prismari perform them? Interesting. Loving the flavor.
the terrifying truth of Bolas’s plan becomes clear.
He's going to steal their sparks to become a god? Can't think of what else qualifies as terrifying for a bunch of bamboozled planeswalkers. I'll be happy to wrap up Bolas as the big bad (hopefully). He's kind of boring at this point.
I loved that this was from Hapatra's perspective. It's too bad she wasn't Amonkhet's planeswalker (or another one) because I'd love to see her story continue across the multiverse. It makes me sick that Oketra and Kefnet died. I loved how it described how magnificent their combat skills were in tandem and really how Rhonas and Kefnet + Oketra were more than a match for the Scorpion God, killing him, but his blasted resurrect ability is OP.
Hazoret being the lone surviving god (of the five at least) leaves me with hope, though. I just want this plane to rebuild itself after Bolas takes his army and leaves. I still think it be interesting to see at least one of the bug gods uncorrupted (possibly with Nissa's help). I'm curious to know what they were like before Bolas twisted them. What their godhood entailed.
The battle between Rhonas and The Scorpion God was epic but my heart broke for Rhonas. All of Amonkhet really. This set is brutal. I'm holding out hope that maybe Nissa will be able to undo Bolas' corruption of the gods (the three new ones), at least one of them, so maybe there's a chance to rebuild Amonkhet. New gods could emerge.

I hate sad endings
