5C Humans 2-0
Grishoalbrand 1-0
Boros 1-0
Tron 1-0
Hollow One 0-1
8-Rack 0-1
The losses against Hollow One and 8-rack were due to Vendilion Cliques being in the main over Blade Splicer. Having Blade Splicer makes you significantly more resilient against Hollow One. 8-Rack gave me such fits that I now run a full set of Annul in my sideboard. They're also pretty good against Affinity and Bogles so it isn't a wasted slot.
I still can't decide which is better, Dreadbore or Terminate. It might actually be the right move to run both. Any suggestions? Oh, by the way, Profane Command is sick. Reanimates a Death's Shadow, lets your creatures slip through blockers, provides the last few points of damage and late game can be a removal spell. You can also burn yourself with it to make your Death's Shadows bigger. I highly recommend trying it out. Keldon Marauders seems pretty good here too. You can burn yourself with him and he's a card in the graveyard for Gurmag Angler.
Do you feel Claim//Fame is a strong enough card to warrant a full set maindeck? They're almost Death's Shadow 5-8. What are your thoughts on Immolating Souleater over Wanted Scoundrels? I agree more fetches would probably be optimal for the build I have.
Mishra's Bauble allows you to use a fetch to filter away a bad card on top of the library, draws you a card for free and lets you get away with running less lands.. It's been decent. I agree on Wanted Scoundrels, I feel like there is something better for that slot. Do you really think Bloodrage Brawler is better? I'm considering trying Immolating Souleater. Life loss on demand and you can sneak in a turn three win with Temur Battle Rage.
Hey all, I've been away from the game for awhile. There's a tournament coming up today and I was thinking about playing the following. What are your thoughts, criticisms and suggestions?
Having a bit of success with this list. I don't understand what's not to love about HotP. Then again, I'm more of a white weenie deck than a Boros deck.
I'm not looking to remove Honor of the Pure, it is insane in my build.
The main problem I am having is against large creatures. They gum up the board and prevent me from swinging in until I see a Path to Exile. I am honestly considering a full set of both Path to Exile and Dismember.
Kitchen Finks is especially a problem. I might have to put a full set of Magma Spray in my 75.
I don't want to run red only mana sources as almost all of my spells are white. I'll stick to RW duals for my red mana.
I had considered Goblin Guide but he doesn't get the boost from Honor of the Pure. The deck is fast as it stands, putting the opponent on a four turn clock.
I'm not sure if I need fetches or not but I'll definitely test with them. A set may end up going in over Battlefield Forge.
I'm considering two Ranger of Eos over Secure the Wastes for late game. Grabbing two Figure of Destiny seems legit.
I've won most of my games so far and only plan on putting more into it.
Try it, you may like it. I do.
It won't be budget after my next planned upgrade but feel free to use this as a jumping off point.
I dropped two Plains and two Island for four Irrigated Farmland and that should still keep it under $150.
I'll be adding 4x Flooded Strand , 1x Polluted Delta and 2x Hallowed Fountain. Logic Knot is boss without them I can only imagine with.
Ceremonious Rejection isn't really needed for Tron. Between 4x Spreading Seas, 4x Field of Ruin, counters and Path to Exile it's a cake match.
Uh...Resto in doubles is great against humans. You shut them down. Blinking Splicers is gravy.

I could run Arid Mesa, but I don't run basic mountains. Windswept Heath fills the role nicely.
Crazybop09, I like your list. How is it working out for you?
Also considering -2 Battlefield Forge, -2 Plains, +4 Flooded Strand.
Always seeking input.
