Upon second counting, I'm short 3 cards. I'm just clueless at this point. I was toying with the idea of doing Voltaic Key & Time Vault. I would be willing to try buying/obtaining a Time Vault if that may make this deck a lot easier to pull off.
Something I've been toying with since I opened my first pack of Innistrad. The idea of killing myself by decking myself out has been interesting me for quiet some time as I'd LOVE to win a game like that. I'm not a millionaire, but I am willing to pay up to $200 a card and I'm willing to build this over the course of six months or so. It's KINDA four colors but I'm willing to go down to 3 colors, (G), (B), (U) So far this what I've got and I KNOW there's GOT to be more that can help me in this, so any help is GREATLY appreciated...
Library of Alexandria is something I'm toying with, I've been watching ebay and it's been going for $200 USD - $800 USD. I'm willing to commit to that if it's a good idea. I have SOME idea of what I'm doing, but obviously not the best. If there's any questions, please speak up. The win condition is Lab Maniac FTW, I was toying with Flensermite, I also toyed with the idea of putting one or cards that allow reanimation, but I decided against that idea. I also toyed with the idea of Panter's Servant but again, rather stick with Lab Maniac.
There's the version I'm using. I'm thinking about dropping the 3rd Spirit Link & a Suppression Field for two Pithing Needle. I've played against WUG Junk, Merfolk, Jund, Affinity, Gruul Land Loss, Eldrazi Tron and something else that escapes me but I've noticed while Life Link simply CRUSHES those decks, I know I have a lot. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is the one Planeswalker that I can't defend myself against. Karn Liberated can hurt but I've found myself taking him out in one or two turns.
For some reason, I feel Horizon Canopy isn't necessary. It might have just been luck, I gotta test it out more. I know I've also been getting my shizz kicked in by Bant Humans, and naturally, any deck using a Melira, Sylvok Outcast infinite combo. Just might be bad luck of drawing into Suppression Field.
I thought if Shattering Spree was countered, I couldn't use the Replicate as the base spell was stopped. Does that hold true for Storm like Mind's Desire too?
I also forget how weak I can be to Chalice of the Void, I THINK I got some spare Ingot Chewer laying around. They're a base cost of 4R, Evoke of R, would Chalice on 1 also stop Ingot? I don't think so, but I rather write something stupid than assume and look stupid at a tournament.
EDIT: I also just discovered Krenko, Mob Boss, Fun or too slow? Something I thought about as a one of.
Any help would be nice. I think I got the mana curve figured out and the deck built well, I just need to get ahld of the fetch lands and Sacred Foundry's so I can put it to test in some tournaments. Any advice on what to drop/add would be appreciated.
natures claim for chalice. scavenging ooze would help in the jund MU using tasigur's. beast within can also deal some heavy blows to tron and can buy time against jund shadow. pithing needle is also good, especially since nobody will board in artifact hate against you.
Hope some of these suggestions help.
That actually DOES help greatly. Pithing Needles are good, I'll put ONE Scavenging Ooze in either the Main or Side. I know the Pithing Needles are going in for sure.
I was wondering if anyone can share some G/W tech to use against Eldrazi Tron. I played someone online via Skype us Eldrazi Tron and I realize how weak I am towards this and Jund. While I have SOME defense in the form of Leyline of Sanctity and just playing Hexproof, I'm well aware of my deck's 80% chance of LOSING against Jund. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you for reading
Hey guys, I've been trying to work on a Mono Redish Goblin Deck for Modern. I remember Goblins in 2012 and how much FUN I had playing with and against them. I know the Modern Format is MUCH different but I'm having some fun running this deck. I could use some help, maybe I'm missing some good Red/Goblin cards. Any help would be great, so here's the deck & side board...
Any help would be great. There's a little bit of tech in it via Goblin King & Blood Moon for easy game enders, they're also good side out bait for games where I won't need to turn all lands into mountains. I think the deck is fast enough to outrace both Death's Shadow & Eldrazitron HOWEVER they're NOT popular in my area, so I never have a chance to practice with them. Thanks for reading guys and hit me up.
