    I really enjoyed reading this thread and is hereby trying to revive it.
    I am fairly new to commander but have a tasigur deck built, however, I seem to find so many ways to build this so Im trying it out in all the ways I can.
    Is there any new must have cards thats been released recently that should be in Tasigur EDh deck?

    Have anyone tried playing with 4 mana Elspeth knight-errand? Her +1 making grim flayer a flying 5/5 with trample or 7/7 is really nice. Not to mention with some mishras baubles in the grave and a 9/10 tarmogoyf with flying.

    Isnt there a third alternative, to maybe leave in 1-2 inquisitions or 1 thoughtseize? To be able to nab a threat or spell from opponent late game is kinda good too!

    Grove of the burnwillows is a no no these days I presume? Dual land that never comes in tapped? Atleast red mana turn one for bolt.

    I think of this as a nice 2 drop, representing both removal and lifegain. Big Eldrazi? Eat my deathtouch...

    Anyone tried vessl of nascency or is it just too slow for modern? I mean, you get an enchantment in the gy and a pretty powerful card selection.

    Worked pretty good in standard, but might be to slow.
    Baubles are the top notch though.

    Except that's not a good argument if the cards just aren't good enough.

    I have to say that Punishing Fire has been very underwhelming in the paper matches that I've played (I've been testing with a teammate for the team SCG event). I've already cut down on the number of Bloodbraid Elf in the main deck as well. I still do really well against Delver, Reanimator, 4C Control (or Czech Pile), which are all top decks currently. That being the case, I can see where having blue cards instead of red ones is a bit better right now.
