I've been playing with this but I think I want a lost legacy in the board but I can't decide what to cut, I'm leaning toward a vizier because it hasn't been performing real well and lost legacy answers carnage tyrant more cleanly.
I was playing legacy when my opponent revealed Chancellor of the Annex from his opening hand. On my first turn I play a land and cast Gitaxian Probe paying life as my first spell of the game. My opponent initially forgets his Chancellor trigger and reveals his hand to me and I start to write his hand down. As I'm writing down the contents of his hand, he remembers his trigger and picks his hand back up and asks me to pay 1 mana. I wasn't sure whether he had actually missed his trigger yet and I didn't want to call a judge so I declined and the spell was countered. Had he missed his trigger? Was the correct outcome there for the Probe to finish resolving? What's the procedure for determining when a missable trigger has been missed?
