Um, I'm pretty sure that's what they do in some variants of chess (speed chess being one, I believe, where you have a limited amount of time per game).
The main problem is the fact that priority passes constantly back and forth between active players. It is damn near impossible to keep track of the time each player has to respond to each game action in real time. Chess on the other hand has each player getting alternating turns where accurate time can be counted.
Makes you wonder if magic will ever move to a solely digital product.....
Anyone know what is up with Ogre Jailbreakers stipulation? Do you think they are going to create any cards with "Gate Matters" that are constructed playable or is this just limited fodder?
There better be creatures named "Key Master" and "Gate Keeper" that need to have a Gate in play.
Did Dreadbore really have to be a rare? Terminate is a common and an instant no less. I can see the case for Abrupt Decay being a rare by being an instant with the uncounterable clause but Dreadbore? Really? Lining your pockets with empty packs, WotC? Nice picture for the artwork also. I love how you were able to vividly capture the pain and anquish of seeing the "Candy Apples - Sold Out" sign at the Renaissance Faire.

So which one of these morons is getting a flaming bag of **** on their doorstep for suggesting that Phylactery Lich and Shimian Specter get a reprint?
I guess they just decided to add some EDH staples to 4th edition and call it a job well done. Good work guys! But I think someone screwed up, you forgot to add Hurloon Minotaur.
At least they are using more abilities than the vanilla +1/+1 for the trigger.
On a sadder note it looks like Murder wil be replacing Doom Blade. I like that it no longer cares about the creatures color but the extra mana cost is kinda harsh. In limited I would always splash a Doom Blade if I was able to get one but now it is going to be near impossible.
Whatever, man. Yet more reason for this game to **** off...
EDIT: It means I'm done competing with people. If I'm not having fun, I'm ****ing out. If that offends your sensibilities, then maybe you really need to be offended after all.
Magic players have fun in different ways concerning this game. Some people want to be king of the hill reigning over all others. Some like building crazy decks and finding ridiculous interactions. Some like playing just to be social.
I once made a token deck with Fists of Ironwood and Vigean Hydropon just so I could say "Fisting the poon". I haven played competitive magic in years, I am not that guy anymore. But I still read all the articles I can. And I have spent an unhealthy amount of time watching live coverage of tournaments. I have a great time playing stack with you guys. Gathering together for box bustin' and sortin'. I love magic more than ever.
Just do whatever provides the most enjoyment and don't mind anyone else. I remember this kid who used to play at Marks back in the Timespiral era with a mono black vampires deck. It was full of crazy stuff and was pretty janky compared to Pickles and D-Storm, which were the hot decks at the time. But he was there playing that deck for months at a time. You always knew the morph was a Soul Collector but he still loved it when he finally got off a Sudden Spoiling and took your dudes.
Just do whatever is the most fun for you. Make your vampire deck. Find your poon and FIST IT!
Wellllllll... New plainswalker... Her ultimate is a little broken... Also it's a little funny how if your opponent attacks and she lives, you get to draw a bunch of cards.
Anyone think she will see play? Also, I'm gonna say... 35$ for a preorder?
if you are referring to the cage, this card is also insane. it basically shuts down any deck with snapcaster, solar flare, flashback. the card should see a lot of SB play.
as a player who loves re-animator Grafdigger's Cage is a real pain. It also shuts down Zenith / NO strategies.
I love how Wotc creates 1 artifacts that negate half the mechanics in the block it is a part of. I am surprised it also don't have the text "creatures cannot transform, non-mana abilities of lands cannot be played, Snapcaster Mage is Banned, all creatures are now Grizzly Bears."
I guess this is how they create sideboard hate now.
Once again i've been victimized by our great moderators here at the best forums on earth, mtgsalvation! Opinions? ( I got hit for "spamming" , because in someone's trade forum I sent a single post saying "sent you PM" , also because some of the traders in there request a post in their forum plus the PM is the only reason I did it)

P.S. Thanks for reprinting Goblin Grenade in M12 than giving us //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&set=%7C[%22Magic%202012%22">%7C[%22Innistrad%22]%7C[%22Dark%20Ascension%22]%7C[%22Avacyn%20Restored%22]&subtype=+[%22Goblin%22]"]6 goblins to work with all year. Go fall on a knife.
Check the prices on Land Tax now. Nothing like the MTG Stock Market.

NICE COMBO BRAH!
She is defintiely situational but it seems like that is going to be a common situation.
Toss in a couple Curiosity and Goblin Fireslinger while you are at it.
Also, does anyone know how to splash WW1 in a UBR deck? Thank god for the Evolving Wilds reprint.
