somebody really want's to ban mindslaver? lol how silly and yes land destruction destroys that deck it's called sowing salt try it sometime, usually works out pretty well if you know how to get it to resolve. Guys blue decks are no fun, can we just ban islands in general? The problem is the game is becoming so creature based that people don't know how to interact with combo's and just complain thinking they should be banned, get over it, learn to actually play magic, not yugioh and don't be so bad
peer through depths sees play in the scapeshift decks as 3-4 of most of the time, but outside that it doesn't see much play, and steelshapers gift fell out of favor after caw blade lost its popularity
to bad punishing fire combo isn't legal anymore, or you could recycle a spell on him #wishfulthinking, maybe all this speculation is why this card is so hot right now, I just don't think storm needs this guy to win, but you never know
ahh to bad it turned out to be fake wouldve liked to see that card, but a gb legend for 1BG seems interesting, and the only reason you get to have fun is because of the grumpy cat, lol that is awsome #grumpycatftw
you can also just selesnya charm him into oblvion, falkenwrath + a guy is just as hard to deal with, you can also just hit him with tragic slip with morbid after you block it, he really isnt that bad to deal with
I think like the most recent FTV's there is going to be a tier 1 chase leading the pack, with a few tier 2 to supplement it, unless ( which is unlikely ) they give us all the best, most iconic cards from those decks, which would be awsome, but this is definitly a pretty nice idea for an FTV
the stamps vary, at least for WOTC events, I'm not sure if SCG uses the same one, and it only decreases values if you go to dealers, or you find people trying to snipe a deal from you, also usually depends on card, I picked up and moved a stamped huntmaster for full value, so unless you get the guy who is going to devalue your card so he can trade it higher you should be fine
this isn't going to be nearly as good as skred, because 1, its not an instant, and 2, it doesnt cost 1 mana, although it is basically the same as skred because as wydogg said the snow permanents were basically lands, also its color restrictive to gruul, jund, naya which all have better removal, going to be good in limited though, kinda hard to play around this with your bomb
i think this card can be fine with lightning mauler and against midrange decks that don't have mass removal, but verdict and terminus have nothing but smiley faces when it comes to 3 or more creatures being on board, but without a way to give it haste, it's just going to be a 4cmc 3/3 flier in the control matchups
What do you guys think is going ot be the end result of this set, seems like spoiling goyf has wow factor, but if this is to get people into modern and at $7 a pack are we going to see an all star cast of cards throughout the rarities? mythics beings the money cards, rares being good, and commons and uncommons being the great support staples we have?
edit- charm really doesnt work, oops lol
except chain reaction is more conditional, x= number of lands might as well be exile all creatures, because it still gets around indesctructibility
