Cyan is probably town. The EoD frustration felt very real, and the timing of the frustration was that he'd be frustrated when the lynch swung to someone that flipped town. He also has a wider scope to his reads and focus on the game than he has had as scum to my memory.
even though he asked to be vigged instead of playing like a true townie and earning a nk?
Someone doing or saying something that'd be bad for town is not the same as someone being scum.
Like. He was frustrated, why in the world would scum ask to be vigged when they'd just gotten a mislynch?
To look townie. I’ve seen scum bluff stuff like that plenty of times. “Frustration” over a mislynch is really easy to fake, so I’d class it more as NAI.
That said, I’m having trouble reconciling the link between Cyan and Hunt. I’ve been suspecting them both, yet on a surface level they read as an unaligned pair based on how hard they've clashed D1.
So let's see...
I'm liking Grape's targets. They're exactly who I would have chosen in his position.
@Shadow I'm confused about what you mean by pocketing here. I'm used to calling a townie who strongly townreads a scum player pocketed, though judging by the way you are using the term, I take it you mean something different? What do you mean when you say you want to pocket someone?
So is it safe to say that shadow and grapefruit confirmed each other for now?
I think that it's only confirmed that Grape wasn't able to be targeted like he said and that Shadow is a targeting role of some sort. Their alignments aren't confirmed though.
Two day 1s in a row without a case to defend against. Oh well.
Sorry man, that's how it goes sometimes.

I'll need to spend some time reevaluating this night phase I think. Too much of the EoD talk went over my head.
You said you were way of the mind wagon because you were scum reading two people on it. Why does it concern you that scum may be on the wagon, since bussing is a thing.
(You were talking to Cyan here)
Why is it decent when I do it, but not Cyan?
---
I’d rather keep my vote on Hunt at this point. Grape’s claimed role is powerful and (probably?) self-resolving as the game goes on, and Huntz role is both virtually useless now that he’s claimed and could go either way in addition to his behavior being scummy. Huntz has also posted enough that we’ll be able to read interactions post-flip.
@fulcrum I’d be more likely to trust these mechanical reasons if I had a solid read on you. Unfortunately, I do not. Why should I trust a last minute vague request from a null read?
If Huntz is off the table for everyone, then I’ll switch to AG to secure a lynch as a last resort. Not going to join the SJT wagon.
Hmm. A bulletproof. This claim isn’t doing much to change my mind, honestly. Not exactly a provable role, and not one that is exclusively town. Something I want to note is that I didn't like Cyan's reaction to the claim. Felt a little too dismissive.
Also, If necessary, I’ll consider voting any of my neutral/null reads as a compromise lynch, though I’d rather not lynch a lurker.
Bur’s vagueness is not impressing me, but it seems to be for a reason. Hoping that it will become clear later on.
@Killjoy I avoided the wagon because I thought that scum could have been piling on to Mind.
Lynching AG gives us more time to sort out Hunt/Cyan because I'm pretty sure there is scum between them. Still leaning Hunt, but that was enough to not eat the noose today.
?????
If there’s scum between Hunt and Cyan, why don’t you want to lynch one of them?
@Gruffin: To clarify, it's not the reason I'm townreading Cantrip, it's the thing that pushes him into a top slot behaviorally, because overall he's been solidly townie anyway. The reason I liked it is kind of silly, but back in Lights Out 2 Mafia, we had a moment where we discussed how difficult it was going to be for us to be truly confident in each other as town, and I feel like that "Oh You" pic was basically Cantrip reassuring me, "It's okay shadow, I really am town this time." Like I said, it should clear up for sure as the game progresses, but I trust Cantrip.
I'm still not clear on how this is AI?
@Killjoy (Apologies, I forgot to @ mention you in my last post)
Could you answer my question to you in 520?
So you think that Hunt is scum, and he named one person that could be scum on his wagon, and it was..his scumbuddy.
Sure thing.
This will all work itself out anyway. If Hunt and AG are both scum, as I suspect, I am just going to get NKed long before I can get lynched anyway. So that's fine. Hunt first though.
I mean...He's one of the top wagons, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's some distancing going on if he's scum. What about his other reads in 557?
There’s a lot of townreads and defending those townreads. I find this style of posting to be fairly safe, and (intentional or not) geared towards not attracting much attention. His posts are lowkey to the extent that I can’t decipher what the intent behind them is. Lack of direction may be contributing to this as suggested by his most recent post.
I like GJ's response to my question. God damn, where are the scum.
Someone point out anything scummy.
You seem to be a little lost. How about starting with reading Huntz or Grape's ISO and taking a stance on the cases against them? Which points hold up?
@Rhand I’ve played 3 town games with Grape so far. Since I’ve never seen a scum game of his, feel free to take my meta reads with a grain of salt. I can’t be 100% sure until this wagon has progressed more, but for now I’m comfortable with calling this case town motivated.
@Shadow Why’s the “Oh you” pic your reason for townreading Cantrip? Do you think that scum!Cantrip is less likely to post that?
I enjoy pressure day one because a)gives me purpose and direction b) forces me to participate in dialogue, otherwise I limp through posting infrequently letting others do the work c) it's how I catch scum. I draw hate from both alignments, but looking at *****ty jumps on my wagon is how I can catch scum day one. It's been very reliable.
Plus, I love the bravado/joking posts. Nothing pisses people off like taunting. Once people get tilted, it becomes easier to read intentions
Okay, fair. Using engagement as a means to motivate yourself and form reads is plausible. Nonetheless, I am still not convinced that this is what you are doing. If this is how you’re approaching the game like you say, then what are your reads on everyone on your wagon? What are our intentions? (Grape/Cyan/GJ/Gruff)

If that's the case, I'd like both of you to reveal so we can figure out which is lying.
Agree with Cantrip that I'm glad I don't have to worry about GJ's alignment anymore.

Unvote, Vote AG
Hunt > AG > Grape
Ten minutes, are we stay on Hunt or switching to AG?
