MTG Salvation

I have done some testing and honestly, I really like this card. Having one on the battlefield is never bad and has won me more games than just sitting dead in my hand. Especially decks like Elves where they swarm, being able to just swing through the line is amazing.

But with it being a one of, it doesnt seem like you would see the card that often and the ability for invoker to just win on the spot seems like it is just too good to pass up. I guess I havnt done enough testing but it does seem weird to me.

Can someone explain someone to me why walking Ballista is better than blood right invocater? I have seen alot of list than use Ballista but no one is using invocater and I was just curious.

What about bloodright invoker as a finisher? it can be hit with company and chords and also be used at instant speed?

Is anyone worried about the recent success of dredge that it could face a possible ban in the future? Wizards have made it clear that it dislikes dredge.

So this is the list that I run and so far I have been very happy with this list.

I believe everyone was discussing the price jump for Surgical Extraction.

I had lingering souls in originally but with the popularity of bitterblossum, I found that I wasn't able to win anymore through that avenue so Being able to just swing without them blocking has been a huge boon for my deck. I still run one lingering souls main board and one sideboard though.

I don't know about that because there are games where I have been losing and have come back to win because I was able to Behind the Scenes and then tower defense for 32 damage. I believe it is a card that gives a deck that relies on dealing damage to get through decks that can easily block all of the large creatures and gains life. I was able to beat an elf deck that had way to many creatures out for me to deal with and was going to win next turn, but because of Behind the Scenes I was able to go under their creatures and win the game. It may be a win more card at times but I do believe that it can be a card for consideration.

Has anyone else tried using Behind The Scenes? I have this card as a two of in my deck and honestly, this card is broken. It allows me to find ways around decks that go wide and chump you.I am in love with this card and when mixed with tower defense, it just wins games.

Why do you think that Surgical Extraction has skyrocketed in price? Also why the modern masters printing at that?

I have a Doran deck that uses tower defense to one shot opponents!

I don't know if this is the correct place to go but would this be a correct thread to ask questions about my Abzan Toughness deck? There aren't any threads elsewhere so I was curious if this was ok?

I don't know if Aegis of the Gods is a great idea because it would be easy for the Valakut decks to just kill the Aegis and then finish you off.

I know everyone has been arguing about it but what exactly is the pros of using flickerwisp over fiend hunter? I understand that flickerwisp can retrigger ETB triggers but does this outweigh the usefulness of being able to remove a creature for a period of time with fiend hunter?
