Very interesting counterpoints. Definitely food for thought. I do hope the planeswalker rule changes in ixalon, assuming the rule does change with the 'spoiled' rates/mythics.
Also, note this isn't comperely creatureless. Hawks are here and paths/condemns.
But some tweeking is always available. And hey, why not Sun Titan? It can get Gideon back if needed too.
Or, we can keep it mono white and add Indestructibility. Using enchantments are rarely good though. I did pick up a play set of mana tithe if that helps.
Ever since Gideon of the Trials got spoiled, I've been toying with a tribal Gideon deck idea. I've seen WB versions, but I never saw mono white for modern. I've been mulling and lurking around the boards, and I think I came up with an idea. Now, this is just a prototype, but I think it can work. I'm hoping we can spring back and forth some ideas for this.
the idea is rough, but it needs some work. any ideas? i do like that pact of negation is slipped in and due to the emblem, they can be a surprise. sideboard also needs some festering.
this is why guardian was banned. yes, it had the saheli combo, but that was the 'flavor of the month.' wizards knew between regal and this new card, cats would've been broken beyond insanity. a ton of cats, and it could be potentially infinite with panharmonicon,
Hi. I'm trying to smooth out my deck for game day. My question is, when I cast insult/injury do my creatures attack unblocked, or can they still be blocked?
That, and if I use this card, does that mean fog effects are muted? The damages goes through unpreventable?
what im actually wondering is, would wizards reprint the fetches in the next block too? think about it. we just got revolt in AR. when they reprinted the original fetches in tarkir, they kept reprinting them though tout the whole block. not just in the first, but throughout the whole takir block. seeing that this is true, would it be possible that wizards would reprint the fetches in the new block too? even just to keep it standard legal, esp since they're are still zendikar dual lands in standard with two land types.

Archangel Avacyn can be potentially an option.
thanks for responding to the thread.
Oh! I just thought of spellskite. I just have to find them, lol.

Sorry if I'm moaning, but I can't deal with it. Hopefully ahmonket helps me deal with it or put it out if it's missery.
Nothing I do seems to stop it.
Thanks for the help.
How does manglehorn stop the copycat combo?
