Saw a list with a playset of both Inquisition and Thoughtseize yesterday. Is it worth to improve our turn 1/2 significantly if in return we get a worse topdeck?
I get the feeling that a turn 1 discard spell followed by a Goyf or Bob is fairly often the place I want to be.

Here is the list that won the Grand Prix San Antonio yesterday (alongside UW Control and Affinity):
    https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/608005#online
    Some interesting notes:
    - No 4-drop creatures in the mainboard, Huntmaster of the Fells and Obstinate Baloth in the sideboard
    - 1 Chandra, Torch of Defiance in the mainboard along a playset of LotV
    - 1 Bonfire of the Damned in the Sideboard
There were a lot of decks at the GP playing Bonfire of the Damned, not sure why people start playing the card nowadays. What I somehow like is the exclusion of 4-drop creatures in the mainboard, although I believe I would miss the Huntmaster more often than not. I am not convinced about replacing Huntmaster/Kalitas with Chandra, Torch of Defiance, as she doesn´t affect the board as much as the two creatures do. If I played a Chandra in Jund it would probably be Chandra, Pyromaster, because she deals better with Lingering Souls and provides me card advantage as well. But I might be wrong with my thoughts, therefore I am interested in what you guys think of the list. (Sorry if my English isn´t the best, I am Italian)

    Jasper,
in one of your recent streams you were toying with the idea to include Obliterate in your 75.
At the SCG Open, has there been a moment in which you would have liked it or is that card just not good enough?
And congrats on the great result! Smile

    What about Seal of Primordium?
It would be more flexible than back to nature imo.

What about going an alternative route and trying Purphoros, God of the Forge as your commander? He is an efficient way to burn your opponents, and in addition to the creatures you play you can include cards like Price of Progress in order to deal efficient damage with traditional burn spells.
