Ok, so EVE did little to help us out. The Fae got the Archmage and Merfolk got Wake Crasher (both of which could be decent enough stand-alone cards to possibly warrant inclusion in 'lark - maybe after rotation). But what about this Figure of Destiny? When he hits the gy, does his x/x reset? I think that he's the release card too. We definitely get the man to help him grow. Thoughts?

    Figure of Destiny in Reveiilark??!!!
    WTFF

    no please..

The only that Reveillark receive is the UR and WU Filter lands.. but i dont know how to put that in the mana base.

I wanna play Redcap MD..too much GB Elves and Magus of the Moon in my local shop.. but im not sure about the mana base (with EVE).. thoughts?

MD Murderous Redcap will happen when EVE will be legal so we have that filter lands that will help to pay that RR..
I will do that cause i love that goblin and help in a lot of matchups.. also has a very good sinergy with BD as BD+Finks..

Talking about sides.. my side is this:

I was thinking to cut that Mare that really do nothing and put the third Faerie Macabre or a second Redcap..

You'll have to ask him to present you with his mana base, I doubt its as stable as I'd like.

He was playing the version that make day 2 in the GP Buenos Aires..
Some shivan reef, mountains and gemstone mine..

its funny cause magus cost 2 cc with stonybrook :p

Thats what the firespouts/redcaps are for. If they run magus maindeck, we probably lose g1, unless we can stick a few coldsteel hearts. G2 and G3 though, we run them over.

@Galle, if your metagame is all rdw, you should be winning every time =P. Reveillark steamrolls rdw, and as long as you run 4 finks maindeck, you should be fine.

Last FNM i played vs a friend of mine that have experience in magic, he always played the same deck as me, but now im playing reveillark and he stays in Merfolk. So he surprised me with a Magus of the Moon in a merfolks deck T_T
If magus of the moon is a headache, with merfolks, too much.
    a very good tech..

I am guessing that you just forgot to post 3 gargs (the deck list only shows 57 cards)?

@ all": There are quite a few RDW in my meta, so Magus is a serious issue for me. I like the idea of 2 Plains, but still really like the all-nonbasic land base too for every other MU. I guess it's a meta call, but what is everyone else running now? Regardless I have never been a fan of Conclave and will keep 2 Vivids in its place. Also, is the 3/3 artifact ratio working for everyone? Again, I am leaning more toward 4 CSH bc of Magus, but top decking a MS late game mean, at least, that you get to draw a card for 3 mana.

Yes, i forgot that big fellas :P, edited.

I took out the BF and play the third *** and CC.

My meta is full of Mono Red.. what should i do?

I play finks cause i love the sinergy between him and Body double..
I love to play a BD copying Finks, gain 2 lifes, chumpblock, persist, copy sower and steal a creature or venser and bounce something, then blink it and do the same Smile is so niiiicee. vs GB elves is a headache for them.

Hi, i was a faerie player, then i decided to play merfolk, i got bored and now im playing UWr Reveillark..
Im confused in which version i will play..
Verdana's version (Nicolas Bevacqua Top8 GP Buenos Aires) or the other version in the top8 by pozzo with bonded fetch, rune snag, ***-less..
Now im testing the Pozzo's Version and i like it but in some match i saw taht rune snag was in the wrong place. but i like too much Bonded Fetch.. cause it helps to find the 3rd land in a two lands hand, it helps to finde the pieces of the combo, its a blocker, and with bonded fetch you can combo with venser if it is in the deck and not in your graveyard.. (with mulldrifter you can find it but you cant discard it and do the combo.. but you can discard it in the clean step, but you had to suspend another gargadon in the main phase.. and have that mana available.. )

I love Kitchen finks!.. is the best card in SHA but now i have problem to play it in my deck.. i dont have Mystic Gate Frown im playing with Adarkar wastes, i dont have problems with the other cards but i have problems with Wrath and Finks.. but in a week i think that i will get those lands..

    Any advice ? Smile

yesterday i played in the GP Buenos Aires.
There was around 600 players from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, etc.. And also some Pro Players like Wafo-Tapa, Saitoi, Nakamura, Ruel, Levy, PV..
Matt Cavotta was there and he signed my Piledrivers, my Silvergill Adepts and my collection of Wydwen, The Biting Gale. Grin
I didnt get the pass for the 2nd day.. but well i did a 5-3 with Merfolks..

    Round 1
    RG Mana Ramp.
Vs Luis Seisdedos... an oldman that plays in the local site where i play.
Game 1: i win it easily, i win the roll and start with cursecatcher, Adept (Signed by M. Cavotta :D), Rejeerey, Cryptic, Cryptic, Sage's.. win.
Game 2: i was stomped by a Colossus with Loxodon Warhammer Frown
Game 3: He had red mana screw.. so i win easily..

    1-0

    Round 2
    RG Mana Ramp
This guy was from Uruguay, he played Mana Ramp with Into the North, Firespout, but.. with a lot of creatures.. something little crazy.. but that surprise destroy me..
I dont remember so much this round.. but it was a 0-2

    1-1

    Round 3
    Mono Red (Demigod Version)
    Vs a friend.. Leonardo Lopez..
Game 1: Mana flooddd.. I played a ponder and looked the 3 cards.. 3 lands.. so i shuffled the deck and draw another ponder.. Ponder again.. look.. 3 LANDS!!!!.. -.- then he win easily with 2 demigods.
Game 2: Now, Mana Screw.. and he draw all the removal he want and won all the clashes of lash out.

    1-2

    Round 4
    Giants !
He was a rookie player.. he told me that this was his first competitive tournament.
    I win easily.

    2-2

    Round 5
    UW Merfolks...
This is kind a joke.. 600 players and i played vs one of my best friends of Magic... we were testing all the month together and both decided to play the same deck..
Game 1: i win roll and start with a Cursecatcher, he playes ponder.. then banneret, then he banneret, then Reejerey, silvergill adept, untap a land draw a card, another silvergill adept, untap the land draw a card, another silvergill adept, untap a land draw a card.. XD he wants to kill me.
Then i played a Lord of Atlantis and win.
Game 2: I win cause i drew 3 Sunlance and sowered his Reejerey.

    3-2

    Round 6
    GW Mana Ramp
Game 1: Win easily.. he didnt play very well.
Game 2: he drops me 2 Oversoul of Dusk and 2 Tarmogoyf.. i sowered one tarmo and played a Reveillark to stop the Oversoul.. again he didnt play very well he could beat me easily.. but well.. then i get a lot of creatures but he drops 2 wall of roots, so we were in a very difficult situation.. but well, then i drew the Cryptic Command and win.

    4-2

    Round 7
    RG Beats
    vs a Brazilian.
Game 1: i win the roll and win easily with Reejerey taps..
Game 2: he drops me a Tarmogoyf and a Countryside Crusher.. but with 2 Reejerey and 2 mutavault i won.

    5-2

    Round 8
    RB Aggro
This round is useless to tell what did i do.. cause couldnt do nothing.. a shadow guildmage burn all my */1 creatures and shreikmaw and incinerate all other creatures..

    5-3

I could be better if i dont played against too much bad matchups.. Red sucks. only if i played against some Faeries or Reveillarks.. T_T
but i really like the experience Smile

    Goodbye Grin

Sry, now my english sucks.. T_T
    I lost my practice

My meta is full of R/G Aggro and G/B Elves , what is better a 3x of Pestermite or a 3x of Nameless Inversion??

    I prefer Nameless Inversion.

He probably boarded out his 4 scions, couple vendilion cliques, although i do remembering him playing a clique during one of the games, and depending if you're on the draw or not, a rune snag or the like, for the masticores, damnations, and redcaps.

Vs Elves Paulo Vitor do this changes:

elves, on the draw, -4 scion -4 snag +3 mastricore +3 damnation +2 redcap

    elves on the play -4 scion -1 mistbind -1 spellstutter -1vendillion +2 damnation +3 masticore +2 redcap

This are Paulo Vitor's Words, he shared his changes with my friend via MSN.
and vs Mirror he does this:

    mirror, -3 vendillion -1 mitbind +4 eize

What cards in the SB are best for red decks?

Right now I've pretty much only seen flashfreeze and bottle gnomes.

Bottle gnomes really only seem good against red decks. I admit I haven't done any testing with them against red, but the 3 life doesn't seem that big when you can't control the board, which this guy doesn't really help you do.

It seems like flashfreeze would be more versatile than the gnomes since it can be used against green aggro, but I'm not sure it's really all that great. It's only good when they play their spells and those aggro decks come out of the gates pretty quick.

Is consign to dream an option? It can answer threats already on the board.

Maybe there's a black card that drains life that could help us pull ahead in the life race.

    For me..
    Bottle Gnomes > Flashfreeze

Gnomes stops Mutavault and Fanatics.. and when you sacrifice it, its like that you counter a Rift Bolt/Shard Volley/Incinerate.

It looks fairly decent to me mate. I think the random Vendilion Clique could be tossed to the side, but outside of that I don't see anything "wrong" with it.

SB wise, the only change I would have made was finding room for the fourth Flashfreeze.

I really dont like flashfreeze.. 3 copies was good.
Vendilion Clique was there cause.. mmm i dont remember.. but now im playing the paulo vitor version with 3 Clique in the main.

Vs merfolks what are your SB changes?
Remember that im playing Damo da Rosa version.
