That no Leyline's 75 really intrigues me RADN. It looks very alien to see a list without a Leyline.
Two Face, how does the Unburial Rites Board feel to you? Been trying to find an experienced opinion on it because I hate the look of it. The only two players I've met running that sb were relatively new to the deck so they weren't really able to give an opinion. (either that or they hated that I had just beat them in the mirror *shrugs*)
I feel that the deck is in a good place at the moment I'm finally starting to see the light again. This time last year I was quite down about the deck but I'll always opt to play it over any other modern deck.
I'm going to GP Lyon in 2 weeks. Will I see any of you there?

I put Ad Nauseam down for a month because I was gonna play Titanshift but I just never felt happy playing it so I'm back!
I don't think so due to the first sentence on the ruling below however I may be wrong?
Here is a ruling from Gatherer:
Lightning Storm has an activated ability that can be activated only while the spell is on the stack. Any player may activate that ability. When the ability is activated, it goes on the stack on top of Lightning Storm. When the ability resolves, the Lightning Storm spell is affected.

Just asked in a judge group.
"Deflecting Palm prevents damage whereas Lightning Storm's ability changes its target. Deflecting Palm doesn't change the target of Lightning Storm, so Lightning Storm is still targeting your opponent.
You could discard another land to it (if you had one) and change the target to a creature, which would save you from taking damage from Deflecting Palm."
Just a thought.. So if you cast Lightning Storm holding priority and discarding 9 lands for 18 damage plus 3 for lethal targeting your opponent. So the opponent responds with Deflecting Palm -- can you respond by discarding another land for 21 damage to choose the same player since the additional activation of discarding a land will be on top of the Deflecting Palm??
Coz this saves the extra slot for the lone Pact of Negation I always keep on my main against Burn for game 2 and 3 just for Deflecting Palm.
What do people think of the Japanese Ad Nauseam lists? Someone posted one in the Ad Nauseam Facebook group and I've been really intrigued ever since reading through all of the recent lists.
It is very different to what I'm used to seeing.
Hey, been playing a little more again recently. Still playing 3 Leylines main instead of Pacts. For the few more local metas I have with Storm, GDS (I know the pacts would be nice for their denials but stopping their hand disruption seems better imo although I may be wrong) and Grishoalbrand etc, it seems a lot better so I've stuck with it. I'm sure I'll switch to pacts for my next GP (Madrid) but that depends on the European meta between now and then.

I was a turn too slow both games against it.
I am currently running Hyclo's list from GP Birmingham (switched verdict for 2nd Bontu's)
Game 2 I Pathed a Devoted Druid but he had another in hand and a Vizier in hand.
I over sideboarded a little but that's what I saw Hyclo do at the GP and his reasoning made sense so I've been trying that and it has been feeling good.
I sided in 2 Graf Cages, 2 Paths, 2 Bontu's, 1 Slaughter Pact and 1 Echoing Truth. (Leylines in main)
How is god Pharoah's gift for those that have tried it? Is it another win-more card or is it really good to land?
In short, is it worth running over anything at all?
Eldrazi Tron, sure our combo is nearly the same cost but TKS aims to tear us apart if we don't lay down a Leyline.

The list I've been playing is the list I've seen most people in the Ad Nauseam FB page playing and have been impressed with it so far the best list I've played in a long time. Before that I was on 3 Leylines mb. (follow link attached)

We have had a team mate drop out last minute and need a team mate for the main event at GP Madrid this weekend.

The other was playing skred but has access to abzan and gw company so could be flexible.
