My friend bought a box of the "new" conspiracy cards the other day and in our draft I pulled Wild Pair. Having just bought the Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder premade deck, I thought it'd be interesting to put Wild Pair in a 4 color commander deck. Any interesting suggestions?

The question about illusory gains has been answered, but your question of equipping to 'keep' the victim has not. It does not work, as you cannot equip a creature you don't control (meaning you can't target your opponents creatures) and once you control an opponents creature via the Illusory Gains allowing you to equip it, your opponents no longer control said creature which means Willbreaker will not trigger. (it triggers when targeting a creature an 'opponent controls')
This was what I was looking for. As unfortunate as that is I knew equpping was a targeting ability. Thank you for the input
So, I'm still fairly new to MTG, but I absolutely love EDH. I came across the card Willbreaker and I have an Illusory Gains already in my deck.
Theoretically, if I had Willbreaker on the field and had Illusory Gains take each creature that was played, could I attach an equipment to the Creature affected by Illusory Gains to be able to take control of each Illusory Gains "victim?"
Well, if it's combos that are different you're looking for i'd recommend one of my personal favorites: Arjun the Shifting Flame. He's not necessarily tier 1, but I have lost very few matches with it and you have the extreme potential to stall the game out while you use cards like Sphinx's Tutelage (works great since all cards are of your commander's color. Basically only lands stop triggers.) and Psychosis Crawler to mill/murder opponents with card draw. Another plus is that this deck can be very cheap to build in comparison to others.
