I'll throw down some baseless speculation that 2.0 versions of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or a 4th Eldrazi Legend might have a cost like Progenitus (WWUUBBRRGG) and the 'Devoid' keyword, to support Eldrazi Themed EDH / Commander decks.
Here is my recent take on Alesha. Much credit to Jr's build which gave me the idea. Lots of similarity, but with less combo. Any comments or critiques are welcome.
I think his alternate cost my be too exorbitant in this build, but Risen Executioner might be interesting here as a unique Zombie Lord.
Can you explain Seeker of Skybreak & Teferi, Temporal Archmage? They seem like odd inclusions. I get that Teferi's +1 is generically useful, but it wont trigger Sidisi? While untapping is a generally useful ability, doesn't seem to get too much use out of here. What am I missing?
Several years ago, my playgroup discovered Star Format, and since then it's our go-to format for all things MTG. When my group started playing Commander / EDH about 4 years ago and we still use Star Format. My group uses Star Format almost exclusively, and never Free-For-All (no one really enjoys it). I think the main appeal is it keeps any one player from getting too ganged up on & the games are a smidge more manageable. If we have 4 players, 2HG, if 6 players, 3HG, if 7 players, 1 Star & 1 Duel (as we do have one frequent player who enjoys 1v1).
My curiosity to the MTGSalvation community is, does anyone else use Star Format? We use Star so exclusively most of our group sometimes forgets "Free-For-All" is even an option. I greatly enjoy the format but have recently been wondering if we are that odd, or are there other people who also Star? Looking forward to your thoughts!
If you have never used Star I highly recommend giving it a try. You can see the full rules breakdown below, along with the original article it came from (I think).
Star Format
In Brief: Five players sit in a circle, each trying to be the first to eliminate the two players across the circle.
Rules Rundown: Players sit down in a circle. Order is very relevant, so I strongly recommend random seating, but any mutually agreeable method, including just sitting down at the table, will do fine.
The two players across the circle from a player are that player's enemies. Each turn, a player's creatures can attack either of these enemies or be split between them.
The two players who sit adjacent to a player are that player's allies. A player's creatures can't attack his or her allies, but he or she can target them and their permanents with whatever spells he or she wishes.
A player's allies aren't opponents, so cards that say "each opponent," "target opponent," etc. can't affect them. (You could try Star without this rule, but letting an ally "opponent" split your Gifts Ungiven or graciously accept your Knight tokens from Hunted Dragon seems like it would be hilarious exactly once, and very tiresome thereafter.)
The winner is the first player with no enemies still in the game. If two players have no enemies left, they both win. Players who have already been eliminated can't win, but that shouldn't stop them from claiming moral victory if they meet the victory condition after being eliminated.
Has anyone tried / had success with Murderous Redcap? I was considering including him but couldn't find any discussion on him here and thought that was odd.
Main things I'm eyeballing from dragons: Silumgar Sorcerer - Wizard, tutorable, flash, flying, counter creature, sac outlet. I'm amazed it isn't a rare honestly. Sidisi, Undead Vizier - Sac outlet and a recurrable tutor? Sign me up.
*Profaner of the Dead - Wizard, sac outlet, tutorable, one sided boardwipe?! This should be in every list, I'm not even joking. Cram it in there.
Rakdos, Lord of Riots
Omnath, Locus of Rage
Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
Many thanks.
PS. Are the methods you use to compile these lists publicly available? I'm happy to ask and wait, but feel bad bothering you

Also regarding Linvala, Keeper of Silence, she does hit mana abilities as well Since you put emphasis on Cursed Totem being able to, unsure if you were implying that Linvala, Keeper of Silence couldn't.
Also what about Linvala, Keeper of Silence as a possible inclusion ?
