With a lot of token generators in my deck (11 cards), Zealous Persecution does some work and is not only for Affinity and Infect but also helps against Junk.
I agree about Ricochet Trap coming out, that is a carry over from the Nahiri build where landing my planeswalkers against control was important. Any suggestions on replacement hate for blue? Boil ?
I posted a decklist 2 weeks ago in Deck Creation (Modern), and no one has commented on it to give advice. Is it usually so slow on the forums?
Any tips for how to get people to comment on your deck?
They're not disallowed or unplayable. The format isn't actually all that fast, once you make sure your deck is able to survive a Zurgo bumrush or Doran beats. Or rather, no faster than before with Selvala or Jace floating around.
And French is quite competitive. It's just that it lacked an entire archetype.
"In life, you either adapt or you perish. THAT is evolution." All decks have to evolve, lest they grow stagnant. Failing to evolve your own deck =/= deck is no longer viable. That is a player issue, not a format issue. Narset is a six drop, and it is still not only viable, but feared. You say I can't play 4+ drops?
"I disagree."
Have you heard of Batterskull? Did you know that this is a card that aggro decks just flail around helplessly to? Point is, the format will continue to evolve whether you know how to adapt your deck to fit or not. The ball is in your court.
You can still include CMC 4+ drops, but now much less are viable and mostly cards like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or similar power level. If you are just dropping some cards from your deck it isn't the end of the world. But what if your entire deck becomes unviable as the commander is no longer viable and the strategy as well? Where I come from, cards are really expensive as exchange rate to US dollars makes redoing a new deck unaffordable for most. I welcome aggro, but Tiny Leaders has shown that 25 life is low enough for aggro to flourish as it does in that format. The presence of the "8th card" in hand makes the format different to Legacy/Modern and life should be different to reflect that.
People have invested a lot of time and money in the format based on 30 life, and now suddenly a lot of those decks are obsolete as they are too slow.
A gradual change to 25 life to see how format adapts would have been more appropriate, and 25 life is at least consistent with Tiny Leaders.
Having 7 cards plus an extra card always available is stronger than just 7 cards, imagine giving Burn players in Modern 8 cards. Life higher than 20
is appropriate to stop the format being another version of Tiny Leaders or Legacy where CMC 4+ cards are disallowed or almost unplayable. The format
was not meant to be fast, it is part of the charm of the format - people can play cards that see no other play.
Blackcleave Cliffs is the only fastland we need if you can afford it worth running 4. Also, 3 shocks is fine no need for more. Finally, I wouldn't play more than 1 Ghost Quarter but that's just me.
Recently switched from Midrange to Nahiri and got to say I was pretty impressed. Won all my matches (10 or 11) during the weekend mostly again T1-T2 decks. What do you think on running a second creature MB or SB in case Emrakul get exiled from library? thought about Goblin dark Dwellers or even Cataclysmic Gearhulk, he could help agaisnt go wide decks too. It would Also allow us taking out Emrakul and a couple of Nahiris and still have something to ult.
I run both Nahiri, the Harbinger and Young Pyromancer / Monastery Mentor to provide multiple threats for opponent to deal with and a more aggro-control build (can switch from defense to attack), which seeks to maximise incidental value from spells.
I am not sure why you say the anthem is temporary for Sorin, Solemn Visitor? It is a permanent emblem.
You didn't mention that Sorin, Solemn Visitor has an extra point of loyalty which counts too.
I voted for Sorin, Solemn Visitor due to extra point of loyalty and because you are not running enough tokens to really benefit from the Sorin, Lord of Innistrad emblem. Also since you are not the aggro deck, you are more defensive orientated where the +1/+0 lifelink option will be very useful.
My match ups were R/G Tron, Valakut Titanshift, RDW, R/G Tron, Jeskai Control (intentional draw). I won first three by 2-0 and then lost to R/G Tron. I intentionally drew into top 8 where I lost to Jeskai Control.
The deck was powerful and only felt underdog to Jeskai Control playing Geist of Saint Traft
I think the Monastery Swiftspear is best in an aggro deck trying to push through quick damage (with Delver of Secrets and Stormchaser Mage, possibly splashing white for Path to Exile and Lightning Helix). Young Pyromancer/Lingering Souls is more of a value deck - I would then include Monastery Mentor and Nahiri (or leave out Nahiri package and run Dark Confidant).
I think Nahiri/Emrakul package works well in a deck with tokens to protect her, and when the token producers are threats on their own. Add it together and we have an aggro-control type deck which can threaten quick wins or play defense.
I want to know how to post a decklist in a nice format with spells and lands in sections, where people can hover over the card names and see the images. for example, this post has the decklist in a nice format, how do you get your decklist like that:

Celestial Purge is for opposing Nahiri, the Harbringer, Liliana of the Veil and other threats. Importantly it generates a token off Young Pyromancer whereas Pithing Needle won't. Molten Rain is essential due to there being a lot of Tron in my meta. So I will leave those in.

I would like some input please on the mana base, and spell choices main and sideboard.

I find three Blackcleave Cliffs and one Inspiring Vantage works well. I agree on only one Ghost Quarter as the coloured mana demands are high. Nahiri, the Harbinger is the best way to go. I think a singleton sideboard Goblin Dark-Dwellers is best option as a backup to Emrakul, the Aeons Torn as it is ok to cast from hand if needed.

1 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
3 Monastery Mentor
4 Young Pyromancer
