I voted settlers/explorers, fae, SA myths, aquatic setting, sky ppl, and steampunk. I meant to hit pirates too, but I guess I missed it.
Anyway, like I said in the other thread, I'm more concerned that none of these random elements make sense next to each other, at least to me. I'm really struggling to understand the story of this setting so far ...

@Doda: sorry for the DQ dude, but there was no reason to post a Lizard, other than pushing the Lizard type.
I wasn't pushing anything. I only just read the type-wars from the poll thread literally a few mins ago. For the record, I like the idea of adding Dinosaur as a type.
Also, I'm still baffled by the setting/flavor. In the first incarnation of WMtS we nailed down a really resonant flavor (Greek/Roman myth) and a spacious mechanical theme (attacking/combat) really early on (iirc it was within the first few rounds). I still don't have any idea what this set's story is or how it's cards will be played.
Also, also. My initial thought on stealing as a mini-theme is that it's not a good idea. Having lots of cards that can steal other people's things will make your opponent not want to cast things--which isn't fun. Notice that WotC will only ever have one or maybe two cards that steal things in a set and they are often high rarities. Innistrad's vampire legend dominates people's mind, but not all vampires do that, even though it's a very resonant ability of vamps in pop culture.

Might I direct you to my post on page 6 with my idea for "Pirate World"?
Holy crap, I love this idea! I was sort of thinking waterworld, with Pirates! too and then I see you've already written it and added sky pirates. I'd vote for this.
Anyone have the link/page number of this Neverworld idea?

My two cents after only discovering this today:
The flavor mashup is giving me a headache. The best sets, imo, you can sum up in a sentence. Horror world. Phyrexia vs. Mirrodin. Adventure world. Ect. What would this one be? Cluster **** world?
Using my own biases: Pirates are very resonant and popular right now (with Jack Sparrow and all). Perfect time for swashbuckling world. This mount mechanic discussion could just switch to ships.
This would also allow faerie. When I submitted my round 3 card, I imagined a court of fae/elves which more closely resembled the otherworldly creatures of myth which could enslave you if you didn't offer them the right food during a chance meeting (they could be blue/white-red since they are tricky, ordered, yet very emotional and governed by their emotions/whims).

Map of Forgotten Horizons2
Sacrifice ~: Search your library for a nonbasic land card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library. The perfect secret is one that is forgotten.
I haven't seen these in a while (opening day for both, bc I love punishment), but I remember being happy with Chris Evans's Johnny and with what's-his-face's Thing. Reed's was good too, but didn't stand out (which is probably a sign of good acting actually) while Sue and Doom were terrible-terrible.
I still say that my favorite FF movie was The Incredibles.

The only thing that bothers me, is that everything looks too MODERN. I mean, I knew it's gonna be steampunk, but this looks more like the beginning of 20th century. You know, like Jules Verne meets the seven samurai or something like that. I don't understand this sudden rise of technology. They built this "San Francisco city" in 70 years? I'm still hoping for gunpowder weapons though.
It's supposed to be inspired by early 1900s era Asia. Look at 1820 Asia. A lot can happen in 80 years ...
Also, I'm really, really looking forward to this.

I saw this last night and was really impressed. Like others, I would put it up with Iron Man as a solid and surprisingly good comic movie. The escapist review is pretty spot on (even though I often don't agree with that reviewer).
My favorite part was in the theater when
Carter catches Cap kissing the hot secretary
everyone collectively gasped.
The trailer at the end was pretty exciting too.

I assumed you were asking for the spirit of a dinosaur bird (it's a flock of flying lizards).
I don't see why you didn't just change the creature type instead of DQing me there, flaps.

Tap target creature.
If the creature's controller controls 5 or more Islands, destroy that creature instead.
