The song has a very clear lyrical description of her appearance
The guy you are quoting literally said above that it's just about the appaearance, not the personality, and you keep repeating the same thing ignoring the actual point he was trying to make you.
The point I was trying to make is that I do not like outright butchering and inverting the source material for no reason. Citing a very specific appearance-related phrase from a characterizing song about her is prime example of it. And a very laughable one.
I do not get the argument about "personality", because well, her personality is not sung about, hence I am ignoring it as something wholly non sequitur.
And I am simply expressing that I do not like what they done with the source, despite it being approved by MME. But I do not hate it like the travesty they did with The Watch.
Kinda like this. Too bad it's not a real card. Oh well.
what do you mean that is not a real card?
The person is a petitioner to stop unverise beyond unless I’m mistaken
basically Refuses to play with UB cards
You have to admit though that it will be awkward when you sit down for a Commander game which turns out to be: Frodo vs Optimus Prime vs Negan vs Ryu vs Post Malone. Hilarious as that is, there should almost be a rule at sanctioned events where at least one Commander in each game has to be an authentic character from Magic The Gathering lore, if for no other reason than the sake of tradition.
I get the impression that the commander cards have been designed bottom-up, that is with the needs of the deck in mind. I imagine the set's Eowyn, Aragorn etc will be more top-down designs.
We know they can do it right, the 40k cards are amazing.
How about:
Jace's advanced telepathic abilities allow (curse) him to retain his connection to Phyrexia. He still operates under the same ruthless Phyrexian agenda but the oil is no longer useful to him to infect others. So now as the lone survivor (victim) of the Machine he must find a way to do what Teferi couldnt and bring Phyrexia back.
I'm most sad that Eomer doesn't look like Karl Urban, he looks more like he came from Gondor than Rohan.
I'm always curious about how they do interpret the colour by for these Universe Beyond products. Like what about the Fellowship is meant to be Abzan over say Bant, same for Rohan being Jeskai, when Naya is probably a better fit.
You could say its F***ing diabolical!
I believe Jeskai is Rohan because it's going to be Horsemanship matters.
I recognize some of the commanders, but is Legolas the Jeskai one? And who is the simic one?
Didn't see a reply to this, it's quite clearly Eowyn on the front of the Jeskai deck and Galadriel on the Simic deck. These are the most relevant female characters in lotr so makes sense.
I dont think wizards should consider commander at all. One of the worst things to happen to commander imo is Arcane Signet. Took us from a 99 card (Sol Ring) format to 98.
I can think of 3 reasons wizards would change it:
Less triggers in Arena speeds it up.
Poisonous abilities stack where toxic may not (It could but if like Lifelink it wont).
Poisonous is a crappier word than Toxic, the definition of Poisonous reflects eating or taking something in, Venomous would be the word they want.
She's not clear either, those bastards.
It's certainly quirky but how is it awkward?

That would be Faramir yeah?

Seems odd to forget Atraxa, Praetors' Voice.
