    Yes, I think it's safe to say these are all vast improvements over the originals. I think I like the first half of them the most. The Unnamed Lady is pretty damn wild with Stomping Ground/Sheltered Thicket/Cinder Glade (and, yes, Taiga).


    Should I stick the word "basic" on there or being shocked for those 3 mana a land is Good enough of a drawback?

    These are cool, seem fairly balanced, and would be worthy additions to a commander set or a time spiral style set.

    My favorite is Ramirez - it's like he gives your pirates "treasure ninjitsu"!

    So we had a bunch of legends that came in this set and they well most of them do nothing, or do little, anyways they were actually interesting character, some more than other and I decided to try out how would it be for then to have their abilities represented in card.

    DISCLAIMER: Some of these may seem out of the color pie but I tried to stick to the colors they were given in the original set while staying mostly true to their characteristics, also used the original art and presented the cards in custom card for to give it another visual impact than text only.

    Nonland permanents with flood counters on them become blue in addition to its others colors. Lands with flood counters on them are islands in addition to its other types.
    +2: Put a flood counter on target permanent.
    -1: Tap up to two target permanents, if those permanents are blue, they don't untap during its owner's next upkeep.
    -6: Return each Island and blue permanent you don't control to its owner's hand. Add U equal to the number of cards returned this way to a player's hand.

    +1: Put a +1/+1 counter on up to one creature, if you do untap it.
    -8: You gain and emblem with "If one or more counters would be put on a permanent your control, that many plus one of each of those kinds of counters are put on that permanent instead."

    That seems...bad. Your level-up progress is going to be reset every time this dies, so it'll soak up a ton of mana to not do all that much.
