Tbf dungeons don't have that many rooms, there are 2 with 4 rooms and 1 with 7. It would take at most a turn rotation to complete them

What if it is a triggered ability that check on stat changes like:

Whenever <Cardname>'s Power or Toughness becomes 3 or greater, it gets and indestructible counter.
Whenever <Cardname>'s Power or Toughness becomes 2 or lower, remove all indestructible counters from <Cardname>'s.

Well it's all about the lore here, the moment it represents. Plus that would be too many words to fit in the Saga Frame, heck I don't even know if this this at all as it is.

I think these need to be more tactical.

    Why not something like,

As long as you control 4 lands or less, you may return a LAND TYPE to your hand. If you do, BIG MODEST EFFECT.

Maybe will need, "cast for free". To ride a primary effect and cost to go with it.

Sweep is an existing ability and that is how it works

Can't really do it this way though. You need to search for the physical cards. Otherwise, you would have to explain the power, toughness, color, etc for each one. Any token can have this name, but not be a copy of the physical card. I just saw a tweet mention this the other day.

I think the card that inspired this custom card was Garth One-Eye and this card is doing something about the same, except the mana cost is waived.

    What a sloppy mess. Gross.

why not just "Choose a card you own from outside the game named, "______"?

Imagine how unplayable that would be if your have to own a copy of Black Lotus to even use it.

Here is the problem. If you attack with a creature with big attack and lifelink you get the counter after your attack and you have to wait a full turn circle until you can attack with those again.

The best way to use this is with Trostani like effects. So he does something when you cast him for freaky 6 mana or you have some way to get big life numbers in the same turn. Which can be problematic because those high life number cards cost a ton of mana. If you are able to cheat him to the battlefield and use some of those expensive big life gain cards good for you. If you already have access to 12 mana than great.
Small life gain cards just works better because they come in form of enchantments and with CC of max 3... sticking around granting you much more life in the end and adding some additional effects (like graveyard hate, control etc). As a cleric he would have been a little better. In my casual edh group he would be to slow in a lifegain deck other than Trostani.
In addition he needs another card to work. Archangel of Thune has lifelink and doesn't feels so clunky.
At the same time though, the effect can snowball quite well over successive turns. The larger your lifelink creature for example, the more life, the more power, etc. It's really so much fun. Being an enchantment gives it more synergy with cards than Archangel, including tutoring it, casting it for cheaper, and protecting it with cards like Sterling Grove.

Man this makes me wish we had Nykthos himself, the character, as a card.

Wasn't Nykthos the Space where the God Dwell???

This works better with cards like:
Angelic Chorus, Path of Bravery, Proper Burial, Mastery of the Unseen, Orim's Prayers among other various cards that benefits from gaining chuncks of life instead of lots of tiny life gains

It's too bad it doesn't work with Urza's Saga or it might have been solid.

Why not? its a 0 Mana Value spell in the deck
