I run Sunstone in my list, but sadly I have not drawn it. Before I added Glacial Chasm, there were definitely some games that it would have helped by doubling my outs. I like having it in the deck as yet another method of slowly building elementals that has some utility to it. Either that, or I have a Foglio signed copy. It's been talked about before, and I think most other people felt that it was too cute to higher power builds.
As for Whiteout, it doesn't do enough. I've tried it and it didn't do much more than Maze of Ith did while being non-tutorable. If you are looking for lower power level cards to use, then go for it. It does a nice Constant Mists impression, but it has limited utility besides making guys with your general in play.
I've been running Titania for the past few months and I feel the same way about the doublers. Unless you are on the big mana backup plan, it doesn't add much to the deck. Extraplanar Lens has and will continue to be a trap to me. It's a terrible play early on and a juicy target at all points in the game. I've played it a lot in mono-red Squee and have not been impressed. If I had to pick one, it would be either Caged Sun for the buff or Mana Reflection for the pure mana production. I just have found that reliably getting Cradle is often good enough for big mana plays.
As for Temur Sabertooth, I've considered it for a back up to Cloudstone Curio. I like the Curio as a combo engine that allows for infinite tokens and land triggers. It's a bit mana intensive with a sacrifice outlet that costs mana, but again, that's what Cradle is for. The intent of my list is to abuse Titania's ETB effect early and often, so I have no trouble with bouncing and recasting her for value. This can even lead to Glacial Chasm locks with Crucible. Sabertooth becomes a second way of getting this ETB value out of her. Once I decide what to cut, I'm going to try it out this weekend.
Have you thought about using Stone-Seeder Hierophant as Lotus Cobra number 2? Yes, it's slower and requires a turn or a Memorial, but it can outpace the snake with a Vale, Ruins, or Cradle in play. I've hard-thawed a Dark Dpeths with it and a fetchland before. Marit Lage was win more at the time, but getting 10 mana from the same land 3 times in a turn can be quite entertaining.
They do have a replacement program for defective product. It requires you to send them the product (all of it) so they can verify the defect and then they send you a replacement. Sometimes they throw a few packs or an intro deck in as well to cover shipping. Seeing as you got 24 promos that are not possible to pull from those packs barring packaging errors, I would say you could classify it as a defective product. Talk to customer service and they can point you to the appropriate people.
They make no guarantees whatsoever on how many rares/mythics come in a box. They only guarantee the rarity distribution stated for each individual booster and the frequency of foils.
About $300-350 a starter box is what I remember seeing most recently. Individual starters can be had for under $30 apiece if you look well enough. The market is small, but definitely there. Keep in mind, there are more than a few people looking to finish sets that are willing to buy boxes to do it. As with anything like this, there is the high end/misprint group on facebook. They are much more tuned into this particular facet of the market.
I fully expect it to be a subtype-less basic land that taps for {1} while still working with terramorphic/evolving wilds/every other card that just straight up gets a basic without qualification. This allows them to leave domain alone while still enabling mono-brown commander decks so they dont lose to every non-basic sweeper out there. It's a half-step towards Barry's Land without having to fully realize the changes necessary to implement it.
From a packaging standpoint, if it were to show up in Fate Regorged, it would have to be in the land slot. Also it would need to be in the land slot for Dragons to make sure that as a 'basic' card, enough would get out into circulation.
You are not the only that has these. The exact same cards with the exact same error were opened at the prerelease I went to yesterday. As more of these become known, the value diminishes a lot since "they aren't rare anymore". They are unusual, but not overly so, at least compared to things like severe miscuts. Like most things, they have value, but really only to the right people. If you find such a person, and can get more than the value of limited fodder commons for them, take the deal.
Dredge won the match. Iona on black sealed the deal. Even a Surgical on Narcomoeba wasn't enough. The BUG player just wasn't prepared with 1 Surgical and 1 Cage as his graveyard hate.
No problem. Not many are lucky enough to see the actual origin of such a misprint. Congrats on that. I wouldn't mind coming across the Doppelganger from that sheet, though Doppelganger/Lions isn't as awesome as Doppelganger/Sorcerer Queen.
A cursory search for uncut sheets shows that Armageddon is the bottom right corner, so you probably won't find that side of your card. Aspect of Wolf is on the left of Wheel. Hope you like green. Good luck with your search.
More than likely, most Revised miscuts of this caliber are fake miscuts. There were quite a few uncut sheets from Revised in the market and more then a few have been used lately to create "miscuts". Someone in the last year or so sold a rare sheet, I believe somewhere along the Mid-Atlantic, and a very large number of severely miscut cards from Revised started popping up on eBay from the same general area. This is why I would be leery of any heavily miscut cards from Revised.
You do have the benefit of play wear on yours, at least giving it some amount of legitimacy. As for others like it, yes a very small number of them exist that are real. Most are not. Check the edges for darkening/dirt. Check for scuffing and general play wear. Overall be very skeptical of any cards that look similar. Establish provenance if you can. What I'm getting at is that you should be well aware of the plethora of fake "miscuts" from Revised and should be appropriately cautious if they are truly what you are looking for. Now, if factory miscuts vs. uncut sheet miscuts are not a concern for you, then have at it by all means. Just remember to beware as the buyer.
There are times when I feel like Mirran Crusader should be seeing more play. Immunity to Abrupt Decay and being backed with counters makes it a rather resilient threat. And it makes a very good Sword/Jitte carrier by being able to swing through Goyf. Even without equipment is seems to be decent pressure.
The miscut Revoker could garner a 5% or 10% (at most in my mind) if you find the right person. It does show the corner circle in the bottom left and a hair of the next card on the sheet, and those help. It's strongly a matter of who wants it. A miscut collector probably wouldn't have a problem paying some sort of a premium while someone just looking for a cheap foil would claim "damage" and try to save on the price. It all boils down to if you can get a premium for it, then go for it.
I don't necessarily see it as chipping away at their confidence and goodwill. I see it more as a sign that they can't print things fast enough for demand and have to compromise on the quality of some products in an effort to keep up. They may not be able to get more time on Carta Mundi's main presses because of other clients, so they have to look elsewhere to get the capacity. Tough to say really.
It's been pretty well established at this point that cards that come from supplemental products are not the same quality as the cards that come from packs. This includes, but is not limited to Intro Decks, Event Decks, Commander Decks, Planechase, Archenemy, Deckbuilder toolkits and so on. As far as I know, nothing has definitely been shown why they are different, but the explanation I tend to go with is that they are all printed at a different group of facilities that use/have access to different supplies and equipment and use slightly different card stock and quality control standards then those used by the plants that produce packs. I haven't UV lighted them to see what differences there are, but I'm not surprised there is one. They tend to look glossier than normal and feel a bit flimsier.
As far as the UV lighting is concerned, it's a reasonable thing to do with all sets except for 4th Edition. Look into Alternate 4th before you do anything with 4th Edition cards that "fail" the UV test. Coming from a collector of Alt. 4th, I would like to avoid needless destruction of more or less legitimate cards.

If you include Vhati, you need to include Commander Greven il-Vec. He threw him overboard afterall.
Starke of Rath and Maraxus of Keld also tagged along for the early parts of the Weatherlight journeys. Abduction started Gerrard's part of the quest. He had a Battle Cry, too.
Other assorted cards:
There are plenty more, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

Was followed by High Tide beating Burn.
