And then in the spots that freed up main we put Counterspell? Would it change the ratio of jace to Teferi? Also I think it’s not too unlikely. Wizards wants to slow down modern and I think that’s a good way to do it.

How many Counterspell will we run main if it gets printed in modern horizons?

I’d go Bant. It plays more powerful cards. Noble Hierarch, CoCo, and knight of autumn sideboard are all very powerful cards that he doesn’t get. Horizon canopy is also very good and coco lets you find sideboard hate cards like knight of autumn, deputy of detention, and even one offs like eidolon of rhetoric. I think Bant is the way to go for a competitive tournament

I’m wondering whether I should get into legacy or stick with modern and edh. I am a total Timmy btw. I have always wanted to try a controller deck too though but I’m not sure about it though.

I sold my mishras workshops to cardkingdom, I don’t wanna hear how much money I lost and all that, I’m too lazy to do it any other way and I did the deed. I don’t want to play vintage so I thought it was fine. What should I do with all that? Legacy stoneblade seems fun. I love modern but I’ve already got spirits and I like it. I’m also tempted to pimp out my edh deck with better cards but my local edh meta isn’t super competitive so the way it is rn could also be ok. I also could pick up a new edh deck or a new modern deck or both. What would y’all do?

New to legacy, I loved Twin in Modern. I am on a budget but I have 1 of each dual land to sell minus however many of each I need, so that's not too big. Ive also got a workshop to sell so thats fun. I want to be a controllish tempo deck that can just win out of nowhere.

Hi y'all. I'm just getting into Legacy as a format and from what I've experienced so far, it's awesome! My current deck is b/r reanimator and I do enjoy it. However, it is fairly fragile and I'm wondering if I should go for a different deck, it also might get boring after a while. I would love opinions on the matter as to which other, if any i should play. Death Shadow/Stoneblade sounds fun. I am on a very tight budget, however, I do have quite a few of the staples/cards to sell. I have one of each dual land and my lgs allows 10 proxies. I am willing to sell my cards to earn money toward the decks. I am wondering essentially whether or not to sell staples like dual lands (and a mishras workshop) in order to buy a deck, or to stick with reanimator. Also, if I were to sell my cards, what is the best way, with the least amount of effort. Card Kingdom?

Bant with birds could be a home for winds due to the fact that it could have a turn 2 impact by pumping a bird.

I wasn't talking exclusively about budget versions. I was thinking by cutting a number of path and a two drop and swapping nobles for birds that the upside of having birds be a viable CoCo hit and more (pseudo)lords would be greater than the downside of less CoCo targets.

For people on a budget, or even not on a budget, could a favorable winds version with Birds over Nobles have any merit?

A Grixis control build with that and forked bolt could be good. What do people think about strangleroot Geist in Bant? Is it better than selfless/rattlechains?

I’m making Bant spirits, but I don’t know whether or not to include vials. Any thought?

Could I get a list for your Abzan? I like the idea of Abzan but I can’t find many Abzan lists.
