What kind of a blue player taps out for essentially a creature albeit an efficient one on their own turn early in the game?!? Jace is not a turn 3 drop he is a turn 5+ drop when you got stuff like Rune Snag and Delay to counter the burn spell or you got a clear idea of what the board position is.
common, planeswalkers are all threats, you bring one down and your opponent will want that planeswalker to die unless your down to 1 or 2 so why would you guys say that they suck? a distraction on the board will let you live longer
Whoever would play his +2? -1 is the only one without a drawback. If something gives advantage to an opponent then it is counter productive. Just use it three times and let Jace RIP. Well there is also the alternative of rotating btwn twice -1 and once +2 but that only keeps him alive and gives your opponent a card.
I will play this +2, i dont even care if my opponent gets a card, i mean im control i can deal with whatever you are drawing, if i played my card right.
come on more draw for blue for absolutely no cost, considering im using control, more draw means more counter, more spell to turn your opponents game on a halt, and he'll be hard to kill coz im control...
Putting "Howling Mine" and "best card" together in one sentence just seems, well, wrong.
err thats not a single sentence, that why "...." is used
really now, blue gets tons of counters again, hell if im playing control again i'll be happy about it but meh soo much freaking counterspells again. IMBA! lol!
i just dont like blue getting to much of the good thing. having jace, aw man not another card drawing engine ala howling mine(well it definetly works like it) + another win option and it gets loyalty fast if paired with control this "thing" will be hard to kill
Morning, everyone. Welcome to the real world, where vast swathes of the Magic-playing population that have different opinions to you also want to see their sort of card previewed.
It's a Timmy card. We know it, and Wizards know it. Hell, Wizards even said it. Timmies buy cards, therefore Wizards like to make them happy, and let them know they're catered for as well as Spikes. Thus, this card is previewed.
Im a timmy/spike player and i tell you i am not impressed about this card nor even other giant cards. Yeah its big effect and thats all there is to it. If only it costed 5 or less then i'll bite into it. IMO.
and i like the fact it can block any numbers of creatures
Well said!
