My dog died this morning. I found her outside lifeless on the patio and couldn't help but think that 2008 has been a terrible year. It seems every month something tragic happens. I'm scared to see what the next few months bring. So far this year we lost legends like George Carlin and Issac Hayes. Funny man Bernie Mac. And the man with a break though role as the greatest joker ever portrayed; Heath Ledger. Carlin, Mac, and Ledger all had my love and respect, but the thing that hits closer to home for me is my dog dieing, my 27 year old cousin diagnosed with Leukemia, and my parents both are coming into bad health. Not to mention I've accomplished less this year than I have in the last 10 years which is very underwhelming for my self esteem. I also got a ear infection last week, and I'm allergic to the antibiotics...so that is really just a pinch compared to the rest but it hurts like hell none the less. At this rate, I'm sure I have brain cancer. Anyways, 2008 sucks. I'd rather forget it and move on.
