I hope they seriously reprint Baneslayer Angels its such a good creature and I love it. I play compeditively (primarily) and just Q'ed for San Diego so I'd be pissed if it rotated out!
It just seems like Act is the Superior Card even if you are setting up an I win situation... they don't always work so any backdraw is counterproductive.
Can someone tell me why the Majority of Red Ball/RDWS/Barely Bro's are running Mark of Mutany over Act of Treason?
From my perspective it seems crazy to play Mark over Act simply because of the back draw (giving opp creature a +1 /+1 counter). RDW in any of its forms is designed simply to race you opp so helping the opp clock seems counter productive especially for an additional 1 point of damage.
Anyone Care to enlighten me, or are we simply using this card to set up an I win condition by removing the blocker and swinging for lethal and the counter is irrelavent?

Please note I only play multiplayer games with my mates, right now our meta games is Mono-blue (Azumi), UWB(20+ Counterspells), U/R (Jhoria), Mono White (Mageta the Lion) and 5C Combo (Child of Alara).
The reason I'm running a large number of counterspells is purely due to the 3 other decks in my playgroup running Blue, each has between 8-20 counterspells... ;(

Hi guys below is my first attempt at an EDH deck which has gradually developed over the last 2-3 weeks. Right now I'm looking for ways to improve it and if possible find some more defensive cards for multipler games since I tend to play choas games between 4-7 other players. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
For now I'm keen to add the cards below when/if I could get hold of them:
Isn't the Sharuum loop with Scuplting Steel and Desiple of the Vault redundant becuase the generals are not subject to the Legend rule therefore it can't cuase an infinite loop?
