    How about:

    Izzet Relic 2
    Artifact (C)

Izzet Relic enters the battlefield tapped.
t: Add U or R to your mana pool.

This is way too strong for a common in limited.

The strength of the signets in limited primarily comes from how easy they make splashing, as well as from the fact that you frequently can use them simply as acceleration without caring about what colors they produce. Wizards probably doesn't want to remove that entirely, but making their replacements less efficient at it is a good thing for the limited environment.

The easiest way to do this is by making signets harder, but not impossible, to cast if you're not in that color combo.

    So, how about:

    Golgari diamond 4 mana

Golgari diamond costs 1 mana less to play if you control a Swamp.
Golgari diamond costs 1 mana less to play if you control a Forest.

tap symbol : Add black mana or green mana to your mana pool.

This makes it way better than an equivalent signet if you're in golgari colors, somewhat less good but still decent if you have one of the two colors, and only mediocre if you're in neither color.

Also, it works awesomely with the shocklands, assuming Wizards isn't pulling off an elaborate tease.

The other two 'options' are the honest, admirable, and ultimately doomed Ron Paul or Newt Gingrich. Yeah.

Did you really refer to Newt Gingrich as honest and admirable?

I say this as someone who is incredibly impressed with Newt Gingrich as a politician. He's extraordinarily intelligent, isn't afraid of political confrontation, and if I had to pick one of the Republican political candidates to be my backup in an alley fight, he'd be my pick, mostly because he fights dirty and fights to win.

But I wouldn't vote for him, for the same reasons.

I never thought Santorum would get this far. If he wins the nomination, I'm leaving the party.

    First, tell them you're gay.

Then, after the shock sets in, tell them haha just kidding! Only an atheist!

    This should work, probably.

    ...

In all seriousness, I'd wait until you're semi-self sufficient (and in the meantime keep lying to your parents and hiding your real thoughts) until you do any such thing.

Has anyone had issues connecting since Tuesday's maintenance? I keep getting to the loading screen and then getting a Bug Splat. After that, I can't connect until the game that I was in is completed.

To forestall the obvious solutions, I don't even have LoLrecorder or LoLreplay installed, I did a repair already, and my graphics drivers are all up to date.

Because the other non-english speakers are all korean, and they can click 500000 times per minute.

I would make sure that the sex is amazing before even contemplating it though lol. .

    It's pretty good! Grin

Ok, I think I'm going to stop worrying so much about it and just enjoy the sexual companionship, based in large part on what everyone here has said. If I start falling in love with her with no sign of reciprocation on her part, I'll try to end it.

Although at the root of this matter, I think, is the question as to why this girl doesn't want to be in a relationship in the first place; are there legitimate concerns such as too little time between work/school and other responsibilities, or is she just commitment-shy?

A little from column A, a little from column B, as far as I can tell. She's a nursing student, so there are some serious constraints on her time, but she also has some family history that I think give her a somewhat sour view on relationships in general.

Basically, I think, if you really want to have a future for her, being just her friend would be the best option. If you're indifferent and she's just one girl that works with you, not THE girl, then go for it. It all depends on what you want the end outcome to be.

To be honest, at this point in my life I'm not really looking for THE girl. I don't see myself settling down for several more years, and I don't think it would be with her anyway.

    1) Not going to happen I do not care where you are or who you know. Banks don't work that way, they may advertise some great rate but a rate that good you'll be talking about needing a lot more than 365 dollars. Add a few zero's. Even then it sounds unbelievably high! Are you sure it isn't 1.1%?

Yeah, if you could get 11% interest rate from a savings account, I'd have put all my student loan money in one, and then made money off of it.

So, I have somehow found myself in the situation of being friends with benefits with someone, and I'm not entirely sure whether it's a good idea.

Background - This is a young lady that I met through an online dating site. We talked online for some amount of time, and I felt enough of a connection that I wanted to meet her in person. At the time, she told me quite plainly that she really didn't see herself being in a relationship at any point in the foreseeable future, but that she was fine with going on dates with me as long as it stayed casual.

This was about a month ago. Over the weekend, we had our fourth date, and we wound up having sex. Afterwards, I asked her whether she was still against the idea of being in an actual relationship with me, and she told me that her views on being boyfriend/girlfriend were unchanged, but that she was more than amenable to continuing the sex part of the relationship. I'm now uncertain of what I should be doing.

I like her a lot, and I think we'd be good as a couple. However, I don't want to press the issue, because she's been very clear since before our first date that she doesn't want to have a boyfriend, and I don't want to lose my chance at sleeping with an attractive girl on a regular basis. A friend of mine, however, has been adamant that the concept of "friends with benefits" or "**** buddies" as it is sometimes more crudely termed, simply does not work - sooner or later, the arrangement is destined to fail, with hard feelings all around.

So, what is your opinion, random Internet people? Is this something I should continue with?

Let us not compare Asians to Hispanics and blacks, for a moment. As an Asian-American, I accept that life is probably easier for me due to my race than it is for a Hispanic or black of similar socioeconomic background.

Why, however, should I be put at a disadvantage versus white people? Why can't I be held to the same standard as a white person?

I work at a test preparation school in a predominantly Asian suburb of Los Angeles, so I know just how loaded the dice are against students of Asian heritage. We are being systematically discriminated against.

On average, Asian applicants have to score 150 points higher on the SAT than do white applicants. And this gap is rising, because the Asian parent solution to this problem is "Well, you better score that 150 points then, or I HAVE NO SON."

    with her i build tanky.

typical tanky build although today i tried adding ROA.
    which i really really liked.

    start off with doran shield.
    catalyst into ROA
    merc treads
    reverlie.
    then Armor and MR.

    masteries are 0/21/9
    runes i just use standard.

    MPen reds
    flat armor yellow
    flat MR blues
and (should probably get health quints but i have Ap quints).

i only have 2 rune pages so eh.

9th loss in a row. 3/10/20 again carries can't carry. had a pathen get double IE's was like 16/16/18 or so. *sigh*.

doesn't matter how good you can be your score is a team score. good thing that wasn't ranked.

Building AP with sejuani is a mistake IMO, all her abilities scale really poorly with AP.

    My build with her is

    cloth armor
    boots
    wriggle's lantern
    mercury treads
    heart of gold
    warmogs
    atma's impaler
    sell lantern
    force of nature

If the game is still going on at this point I'll get Randuin's, or swap out the heart of gold for something more useful.

Her main source of damage from spells is her W, which scales with max HP. Getting Warmog and atma has some nice synergy with this, plus it makes her very hard to kill.
