I presume post-mining SK picks a target post number and whomever hits it dies.

That's the last tidbit from me, kids. It's been fun.

I guess we'll talk about possibly sparing J_B for tomorrow, but I really can't see any reason to wait on this one.

You mean other than waiting to see what Loran + Andelijah flip as? What's your rush, exactly?

The possibility of another non-sane cop does exist, and pretty much has to be the case here - I really don't see RR running a gambit with loran already dead pending revelation tomorrow.

I'm not really doubting Loran's alignment so much as if his cop is naive/paranoid/normal.

    This.

I can assure you that something is wrong with Loran's result - I'm not scum. I'm not a miller, either. I have no abilities at all; just town.

It's overkill at this point, but Vote: AE - magic? Really?

I'm quite wary of lynching Andelijah given that I know loran's result is wrong, so RR's could be as well.

EBWODP: Sorry about the tags; there should only be two posted quotes above- it's splitting each quote into two.

@Cubus: I must have missed the line in question in this discussion as it pertains to DesCoures; would you mind to direct me to it? You do make a good point about AE's discussion around mass-claims not synching up right (cop, doc, vig comment); I'd like to hear his answers to RR's questions now, too.

    Vote Archmage Eternal

I was one of the first to point him out as scum, and still believe that he is. His posts are very in line with how he posts as a Mafia member, and seem drastically different from his townie posts in other games. I stand behind this vote.

@Akid: Please respond to the allegations against you, as I think your real life situation is causing people to gang up on you, and I'm unsure that it is truly warranted.

Um, I did not place a vote on you at all. No need to unvote. Tell me what you mean here.

@Some One- You could say this is my 3rd game as I am in NES #27 at the moment.

There's a problem, here; if this is only AE's third game (which it appears to be upon a quick check of his posts), and two of them are still active with AE alive in both, how would Samoht know what his normal town posting looks like? I'd like an explanation, because it looks like he's simply lying to make his case look better.

I'm not bitter about the confirmation. I was just commenting that I had previously found him scummy. In other news, I finished my last midterm this morning, so I will be back to regular, lengthier contributions. I will respond to everything tonight after dinner.

Fails to deliver again, and that's hardly an inspiring defense to the bitterness charge.

I'm curious why both Loran and Samoht are defending Apokalypse Kid without giving any merit to the charges against him. I went back through his posts to see if there was something I was missing they saw, but I actually came across something else that struck me funny.

    Quote from Apokalypse Kid

Are you serious? That's the unansweredd question? That is obviously a rhetorical question, because I clearly answer that we means the town.
I was convinced Seppel was scum, but he was then cleared by PM shenanigans.

This has the same tone to it that Cyan had earlier as it pertained to Seppel being cleared via WinCon - bitterness.

Archmage_Eternal, on the other hand, actually seems to be contributing while attempting to defend himself. He's pointed out who he's suspicious of and why. I might be missing the boat on what others are finding suspicious here outside of his Block1 play?

I do not get the impression he's doing any actual scum-hunting, rather just going with the flow and tossing suspicion on whomever is being talked about at the time. His laziness in the exchange with Some One was hardly inspiring, and the original post I questioned still reeks of a false dilemma.

I believe it was Cubus that was quite happy DesCoures was dead; I'd like to hear anything additional he has to say on that matter now that her alignment has been revealed.

@loran: I imagine he's referring to the name-calling between Some One, Samoht, and kpaca, primarily.

@Inifinis: This is a completely different scenario from where the game state was when TMT made his post that you linked to earlier. At this point, rushing through a lynch for the sake of killing someone is irresponsible when we can make the same determination tomorrow with more information and the ability to do so more than once, which is atypical from your normal mafia game.

I'm in agreement with Andelijah that rushing through to a lynch in this game isn't prudent. Given the current situation: many scum down, multiple lynches a possibility, and nowhere near a consensus vote - there's just no need to push the issue today.

I'm not feeling any better about Apokalypse Kid after his recent coversation with Some One. The self-meta analysis bothers me, playing semantics with "re-reads", and asking others to do the work for him do as well (find me the ?s and I'll answer). The original post I questioned is a huge red flag as well. I think this is an excellent springboard for CB3.

I am more curious as to what it means in terms of you.

But anyways, what possible reason does scum Samoht have for claiming you killed desCoures? Best case scenario he gets a townie killed before dying himself. Not exactly a good trade.

This is actually a very good point, and one I should have considered along with the behavioral issues I have with Samoht.

I want to take a closer look at Apokalypse Kid whose false-dilemma EBWODP that I called attention to earlier piqued my interest. That will be Monday, as I'm out of town tomorrow.

I am happy with my vote on Samoht. I'm busy, my midterms are next week, so I need to keep studying. The last interaction with Lampdwellr makes me think that LD is much more likely to be town.

    Quote from Apokalypse Kid
ebwodp *much more likely to be town than Samoht

Question: Why did you feel the need to add this?

I get the impression Samoht is subtly backpedalling from the strength of his assertion that LD was responsible for DC's death because it became apparent he was going to be taken to task (an ability claim) if it got too far. I think getting a claim from him would be extremely beneficial in determining his motives and alignment, and am leaving my vote as such.

People were unwilling to believe that Cyan could possibly be scum. That being said, they must have believed that players with this "fancy way to word the town's wincon" were considered town. However, in playing these others' game a little, by questioning what was considered town, it proved my point that he must be scum because it was concluded townies were only those individuals who explicitly received the town's wincon. Clearly I wasn't the only one who saw this because I wasn't the one who killed, possibly vigged (can't be certain) him before SSB was lynched.

That's quite a bit of stretching you're doing there with the first line. People believed Cyan was scum - Loran, for example. I'm content with the rest of your response, however.

Samoht's playstyle attack on kpaca is justified - his posts often contain nothing relevant and he makes lots of them - but it's awkward. It's not as if kpaca was the sole attacker against him. I wonder what the motivation there is exactly - it's not like he thinks he's scum - a chance to get his post count up, possibly? Even if that's not the case, specifically, the reaction does not feel natural - it's not something I'd expect a townie to do.

    Vote: Samoht

On the flip side, LampDwellr seems genuinely angry over the recent attack on him. I'm reading that as townie indignation, not scum flailing.

Thus far, in recent days, answering questions and responding to statements directed towards me is a much quicker task than that of scum hunting; it corresponds excellently with the fact I'm getting ready for my next semester of college. I could have easily just settled in and then addressed everything all at once, at some point in the future, but given some tidbits of time, I felt it was better to tackle the smaller stuff now and get to the bigger stuff later when time becomes more readily available.

    Okay, then. Question:

    * These are the posts immediately following your vote on Cyan:

    http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=3505163&postcount=475
    http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=3505282&postcount=477

    You're now arguing this:

    http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=3523193&postcount=967

Can you tell me what's changed?

Inifnis' claimed role and protections are solid and he should not be today's lynch. His choice of Seppel makes sense from yesterday, and after Cyan's opposition to Loran, his target for today does as well.

Some One seems to have picked up the agenda of trying to clear himself via the town WC through his vote on Cyan back in CB1. I was going to take a deeper look at him anyhow, based on my earlier comments; this is just fuel for the fire. He seems far more concerned about himself and his image than catching scum.

    I'm a male.
