I'm thinking of just running a single Reclamation Sage, as an out to Worship, Leyline, RIP, other random Enchantment hosers (they can be topdecked), for this Jund Shell
I'm honestly surprised nobody's run Reclamation Sage yet. Even just one can answer a lot of problems that Jund would otherwise have trouble dealing with, especially since it's tutorable.
As we have discussed it in the previous thread, "it's tutorable" is a bit trick... if you want to fight against a black leyline or rip, it is NOT tutorable!
If you want to fight a Worship, ok... it is tutorable!
Surgical Extraction fulfills the following requirements:
- reduces your life total
- lets you look at your opponents hand
- fuels delve
- triggers prowess
It doesn't give you back a card but instead is able to reduce potential threats and removal, especially in combination with Thoughtseize.
At first glance, this seems to be a replacement that helps our deck most.
I really don't want to buy into a new deck again.
This is what I think too.
It doesn't give us a card but it can potentially reduce the numbers of cards in our opponent's hand, what 'virtually' is the same thing!
Noxious Revival is interesting also, because it can target our opponent grave, but I don't know what kind of plays we can achieve with this... if it isn't a good option, Postmortem Lunge is a better option!
What about Surgical Extraction as Probe replacement?
They are not the same thing, of course, but it hurts ourselves, it gives us information and it can give card advantage as well.
I wanna share a small report from my last tournament.
It was at my LGS, a small tournament with 17 players, but some interesting matches and plays.
I was using the stock lists with 2 lynx and 1 goyf.
I've also added 1 Rancor for a Mutagenic Growth.
My sideboard was a little bit weak as I did it like 5 minutes before the tournament (and it costs me one round).
1st game: fishes (1-0)
G1: I had a very explosive hand with creature on T1 and DS with Rancor on T2. GG
G2: This was a very grind match where I tried to change my creatures for their lords before he could spreading seas any of my lands. A master of waves could have changes the game, but I manage to win.
2nd game: burn (2-0)
G1: I played like a zoo deck, plenty of Nacalts and Swiftspear. BI + TBR ended the game.
G2: He started playing a Vexing Devil, which makes me think about it. At the end, I chose to take 4 and it was the right thing at the moment. On T2 I could play a DS 1/1 (12 life) and my hand was: TBR, Bolt and Mutagenic, fetch. He had a Rift Bolt suspended. On his turn, he Rifted my DS and I answered with Mutagenic (10 life, 5/5 with 3 damage on it). Then he played an incinerate effect on it and I bolted myself (7 life, 8/8 with 6 damage on it). He was tapped out and I could win =)
3rd game: mono g stompy (3-0)
G1: Another zoo like game, just run over my opponent.
G2: I was at 12 life with 4 guys (DS, Lynx, Swiftspear and Nacatl) and a fetchland at the battefield. He was at 14 life with 2 guys (Baloth and Dryad) at the battefield. He attacked with everything and I blocked the Dryad with Nacatl + Lynx (which would trade his Dryad + Vines for my creatures) and did not block the Baloth to take a little more damage and kill him next turn. He showed me 2 Vines and I lost =(
Note: he had played another Vines a turn ago, which makes me believe that he didn't have another 2. Maybe I missplayed, but this is the way that I could win next turn.
G3: Lynx on turn 1 followed by fetch on t2 and t3. 6 creatures at the battlefield on t3. GG.
4th game: gw auras (3-1)
G1: I kept a medium hand (lots of cantrips and just 1 creature), didn't draw another creature, faced a path to exile and lost.
note: this is where I lost a game for not having good SB things
G2: Put 2 enchantment hates from my SB but no Spellskite. Had a very good start with creature on T1 and 2 creatures on T2. He had a boggle with Unflinching Courage and Rancor. It was a chess game and I was desperately looking for a BI but he found his Daybreak Coronet before me =(. GG =/
5th game: naya zoo
G1: It was a zoo vs zoo deck but a huge DS did the job.
G2: BI + TBR on t3 ftw.
Props:
- The stock lists seems to be the best for me
- The deck keeps surprising me every tournament
- It can play as combo or as a zoo deck
- I had no problem with manabase this time
Slops:
- You need to be updated with your magic skills to play the deck
- Bad sideboard choices
- Lots of mulligans
Very good article!

And one of them won =)

About LD, we were talking about split fulminator/ghost quarter.
I am playing 2 fulminator and 1 ghost quarter and they are doing really well.
You can start writing and send us... I would love to help with some inputs and previous experience =)

Yes, but who has the power to do this?!
Also the Deck Tech with Brad Nelson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDRMLSSZjFk
Yes, do that
Also, take notes about the opponent's deck, maybe the field is changing in a way that the deck seems weaker.

Edit: this guy played it really really bad... bad decisions, bad mana choice, bad plays =/
