Rise of the Eldrazi is going to be a set built around the Eldrazi Titans, all of which have no cmc and are colorless. For example, there are two Eldrazi Titans at ##/##, the smallest of which is 7/7. All of the Eldrazi Titans have a new mechanic called [awesome blast]. Eldrazi Titans with [awesome blast] have a ???; whenever a ??? with ??? ???s, the titan's controller must sac that many permanents. The Eldrazi Titans are very large but there are Eldrazi Titans that can create 0/1 tolkens called swarm dudes that can be sacced to add one colored mana to your mana pool and will help you be able to summon the Eldrazi Titans. In addition, the set has a new card called [jeebus]. You may spend X on Eldrazi Titans with [ability2] to improve their swarm dudes and themselves. This Limited environment is much better than the one in Alara Reborn.
Im guessing a cmc of zero, but needing to sac permanents to play. Sounds a little like Yugioh.
Its probably going to have crazy abilities at effects that would be impossible in the real world, just like the Astral set that was in this one mtg videogame for the computer a long time ago.

Could it possibly mean that rarity can have a flavor connotation?
Random guess: rarity=social status common=commoner, mythic=local hero/king, ect
It would make a lot of sense, given similar implied semi-russian/eastern europe name of the plane and Sorin's last name.
