Eww, now I'm even more excited! Every little new thing I see just gets me more and more pumped. Even if we have already seen all of this before. But nice now have names to go with the faces.
I'm really considereing how the heck I'm going to scrape together enough money to buy like three boxes of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor (and Morningtide and "Doughnut").
I hear ya, man. All this Magic madness is going to destroy everyone's wallets. I really don't have the cash for two large sets in one year. I normally guy two or three boxes of a large set and then one of the smaller ones. Maybe I will just get what I need for decks from Lorwyn and not even bother to collect the thing.
From the first batch posted
Qwerty 1 would be abused and the card would end up being banned like another one mana creature: Disciple of the Vault.
Qwerty 2 is good. I would like to see something like that.
Qwerty 3 is a horrible card. It's mana cost and what is needed to get the thing to survive just don't work together. You would have to have Glorious Anthem or something, making it impossible for this one mana creature to be a turn one drop. And bumping it up to a 2/1 for one mana just doesn't fit blue's style.
Qwerty 4 it an okay card. I think it's ability should come with a 1 cost tacked on.
I am just going to guess that the next 2 part block will focus on everything that kind of gets pushed to the side in Lorwyn. Like Lorwyn may not have nearly as many enchantments that large set usually have, because they needed the space for more tribal stuff. Thats the only way they can be intertwined without having anything to do with each other. Just both blocks really sort of lean on each other in some areas.
Wow. That was nice. It actually had a sort of epic feel to it that really worked for the material. Which is a lot better than what WotC gave us. Their video made me think of elves "droppin it like its hot."
All of those planeswalkers are boring as heck. We're given an open design space... and now we're given an example, but that doesn't mean there's still not design space.
Ajani Goldmane 4WW
+2: Tap Target Creature
-3: Target Player skips their next untap step.
-6: Target player gains life equal to Ajani Goldmane's loyalty.
Loyalty: 14
This would be the strongest card ever printed and would ruin the entire game within a few hours of its release.
Monday can not come soon enough!

Also, did Wizards website not update right because MaRo's article is the one from the 27th? Ooops! A great day for wizards.com, indeed.

Jace is the one that is going to be broken.
