without kiki-jiki in play? i will if needed. without kiki-jiki in the deck. no ofcourse. like i said, combo is just in the side, you will never depend your strat with it and never build around it. but you need to go combo out against combo though.
No, against combo, you oontrol the board and prevent them from comboing.
eventually the combo player will be able to get answers. and that is why you need to finish it out after controlling the board. though most of the time, you done need to combo out anymore because they already died , its still best if you have the back-up combo.

bell-ringer is not trash, its aleshable and adds a combat trick. making your creatures get vigilance effect. kikijiki is not hard to cast especially if you have filters. which i'm planning on buying.
i'm planning on changing my combo to kikijiki bell-ringer - angel combo. so that i can still win even if RIP is in play. Im gonna take out mikaeus and trike for it.
Hmm. For some reason I'm thinking about Mindless Automaton. Might be a bit durdly (no more than Solemn Simularcrum), but it does feed Alesha and is "unblockable" (you take the two or you block and I cantrip, then rez next turn). Thoughts?
Oh, i forgot to mention my budget restrictions though. but thanks for giving insights, i was planning on getting those pieces together. and maybe if it gets completed, i will up the count of creatures.
In the meantime, im really busy with getting married, prep and all. so yeah, it sucks.
DB is good but i think ZP is quite an exciting and tricky combat trick especially whenever i am facing mono white decks.
and no, i do not use murderous redcap as combo finish, i actually use triskellion and mikaeus combo as the 1st choice of finishers if possible. i just like the redcap damage as i find it hard to find ember hauler here, IDK why.
I don't build or critique with budget in mind. I look only at what the deck wants and needs the most to help the deck accomplish it's game plan. So when someone asks me/comes to one of my Primers for help, that is my best direction since we're all here to make our decks the best they can be. (Plus how am I to know when card x or y isn't included for budget constraints? The answer is I can't - so I don't make such assumptions).
ZP is good, sure. It's a combat trick. But DB is reusable, fuels Alesha, and soft locks mana dorks off the board. IMO, it is much more worth inclusion from a functionality standpoint.
While Trike is a fair card and it IS Aleshable (although as a six drop I find I prefer Duplicant in this role ), Ember Hauler, Goblin Legionnaire, Acidic Sliver are all three comparable but generally better (redundancy :D) with Ghitu Slinger being close to functional. Or if you're on such a strict budget, both Blind Zealot and Mindstab Thrull are pretty killer without breaking the bank. Necrotic Sliver is also decent for a few bucks.
I added mindless automation before and that seems clunky. i replaced it with braids, as for added redundancy to any creatures we have on board.
Duplicant is good, but trike can deal with multiple creatures at a time.
the only thing i want to add is necrotic sliver. already tried mindstab thrull and blind zealot and it makes you choose between damage and card ability. i dont like it, each creature should be able to deal damage while being able to control the board at the same time.
darkblast is redundant, but is less effective against multiple creatures at a time in which ZP deals against one time, then go land denial after it resolves.
However, i will definitely consider replacing rakdos charm with dark blast for bigger tournaments.

great walker, with her colors, i think its safe to say she can be in a deck. 2 of's as if not mistaken, blockers get you CA's is not bad or not attacking you at all. i can sense her being played in bant eldrazi's
This looks clunky, slow, and confused as to it's deck identity.
can you please elaborate?
it does look like that on paper, but works very well on games, plus its meta call. the meta here on our country is combo and aggro, and some creatures i had put before just wont fit into the meta.
i made it to top 2 twice already. my old list with 40 creatures did not make it at all.
i can sense that this card will be a staple moving forward in modern. ima buy em all! it technically deals with anything.
Remand exists so it won't. There aren't many spells that can't be countered that sees major play in modern. Bosiju/Cavern powered things are the only things I can think of.
well, things like abrupt decay, and dealing with a creature that remand cannot deal with is excellent, it can narrow down your deck building. and in my opinion, remand and this would be a good combination in deck building.

hey. late post of my deck. so what do you think?
after cutting down my creatures to 26 from 34, i feel more confident. it seems the effectivity of the creatures is what alesha needs and not quantity.
its a control/aggro build with combo on the side.
Ugin, Nicole Bolas, Jace the mind sculptor.
Emrakul the aeons torn.
but. the advantage of Goku rather is being able to adopt to the situations.... so i think goku would still win.
