they should have given Hazoret first strike instead of haste
why she is already indestructible does it even matter? Plus she works with the curve or RDW hitting fast and hard. I wonder if bedlam reveler would work in a deck like this.
Because the other gods are probably going to be given an ability that is relevant the whole time such as vigilance, flying, trample, menace where as haste is only relevant the turn she comes down and even that's only if you can activate her
I love the gay couple despicted in the magali villeneuve art.
How do you even know if they are gay?
Why does it even matter?
Men can't just be friends in tumblrland.
Which is ridiculously sexist, ironically.
No one can be friends anymore!! Two guys a re bonding = they're gay, two women trying to understand each other to be better friends since they're on a team together = lesbians, a man and a woman showing that they care for each others well being = get the lube and candles ready, it's gonna be shakin' tonight!!
This is my vague prediction. Bolas took over the plane to drain it of its mana for wtv reason, which resulted in the dunes. The gods seeing what he was doing, put a magical barrier around the city to protect it's people from Bolas. They will fight along side the gatewatch to help defeat Bolas and free their people. And hopefully they will fail, Gideon gets imprisoned or enslaved (i doubt wotc will kill him off), the rest of the GW goes to dominaria to meet up with Ajani and that will lead us to our next block.
In the article talking about the new arts that some of the cards in mm17 got, they tell where the setting is, such as cavern of souls is in innistrad, serum visions is new phyrexia and goblin guide is from zendikar. But terminate and stony silence got "not important" as a setting. Is this maybe some kind of clue? You would think that maybe it just didn't have a specific setting but the last one shows guttural response and it says "not setting-specific"
Mercadia and Kamigawa are not going to happen in Standard anytime soon, if at all. Both where pretty reviled sets. Don't get me wrong, both had their good mechanics (Spellshapers for Mercadia, Bushido and Ninjitsu for Kamigawa), but overall, they were just horrendous badly made blocks. We will likely see them both in Auxiliary Products. Indeed, we have been seeing modern parts of Kamigawa show up in both Planechase 2, Commander, and recently in duel decks.
I never understood wotc way of thinking. Just because the block was badly made back then and that there won't be as much hype from the players at first, why not take the opportunity to revisit it and fix its problems and do the plane justice and make it a plane that the players will enjoy. They know what the problems were. Kamigawa for example had too many legends and the flip cards were confusing. It doesn't mean they have to bring that back, they can revisit some of the legends and design the flip cards differently, leave out the least popular mechanics and replace them with new ones. It's still an incredible setting. I think that wotc are just taking the easy way out and just visit planes that did well so they don't have to change anything.

It's fine. It's the type of foiling. A few of my expeditions have that 'it looks like its scuffed but it's not' look. I believe this is one of the reasons people don't like this type of foiling
I own the decktutor and the ultimate guard ones. BCW i own the 8-pocket version, (If you want to keep playsets but don't like how bulky the 12 pockets are, check this one out, no zipper though).
I found the Decktutor's pockets to be small. I double-sleeve my cards and the sleeve would stick out of the pockets.
Everyone seems to like the Ultimate Guard products, but out of the 3, I personally find it the worst. Cards kept on falling out the furthest right pocket.
BCW is the one i go with. It's sturdy, the pockets are perfectly sized (even for double sleeving). I kept my expeditions and inventions in the Ultimate Guard because it has the zipper, but as soon as i saw that bcw makes zipfolios, i ordered one right away. The only problem I have with these is the distributor doesn't carry them here in Canada. The Professor rated it an A-
These are my personal opinions and preferences, i'm sure people would say otherwise.
I haven't seen this list posted, https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/modern-red-white-nahiri#online. I like the additions of the Colossus and intervention pacts. I would still prefer playing chalices than paths. Don't know about the madcaps as Colossus is the only target. I think a list of the PWs version with intervention pacts and Colossus would be interesting.
Has anyone tried Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker, if so what's the consensus. His + ability can put lots of pressure and removal is always good for his -. I wouldn't bother with his ult though.
Lastly, can anyone explain the benefit of playing snow-covered lands without any cards that use snow mana?
The only foils I get are the ones with a different art that i like more than the original. I'm also a collector, so i'll get the masterpieces but besides that, just trade them for other stuff i need or the non foil version. If the foiling was done like in YGO that would be a different story
Because the other gods are probably going to be given an ability that is relevant the whole time such as vigilance, flying, trample, menace where as haste is only relevant the turn she comes down and even that's only if you can activate her
That's exactly what i initially read HAHA
