Thanks Rothgar13 for your help. I've had plenty success at FNM but I've been to two PPTQs this season and it's been the complete opposite. I have about 4 more this season and just trying to find the optimal build for this deck.

Have you thought about running another 2 cmc creature like Harbinger of the tides instead? I feel like mistcaller is really good against CoCo decks but everything else it's just a 1 drop 1/1. Or do you prefer having them to curve better?

Rothgar13 how do you think cursecatcher performs? It seems underwhelming to me.

I’m pretty sure Abzan Midrange has better results than the Traverse package I’m running, but I like the gameplay of the traverse package and I like drawing action and it feels much more lower to the ground. Just my opinion.

So I’m playing Abzan Traverse. Jadine Klomparens list from several months ago. Been having minor success with it.

I’m playing what I call Mardu Bedlam Rat. So I’m still on reveler but I don’t play Pyromancer I play Pack Rat instead. Have had good results so far. Going 3-0-1 and 3-1 since playing it. Here’s the list.

I've done a little testing with Bonus and so far you would be correct with the comparison to Tasigurs. At times Bontu is wonky. But not all the time, and against bad match ups like burn and Bant Eldrazi it's been a house when paired with bitterblossom. But like I said with very limited testing with Bontu.
