One of the thing I like in going Esper/Grixis+white is Celestial Purge + Disenchant in the sideboard. The first actually helps a lot in the mirror (planeswalkers and Shadow's war) + Moon & Leyline (which usually are in deck against whom we should side it anyway) and Disenchant also provide a similar effect.

I'm playing the white splash. Ranger main. With 2x wear//tear from the side.
I'll be moving k command to side and putting 2x surgical extraction main, with 2x side. Since I didn't have my street wraiths (mail) I played 4x surgical extraction main tonight. Helped a lot in games.
Hey guys. Been playing grixis control for 8 months now. I jumped over to this extremely aggressive control. Been doing okay. Mainly because I use bad list haha.
Hey guys! I'm a new player to control and I completely love the archetype. My main concern right now is how to play Cryptic Command correctly. What are its main interactions? When do I choose which modes? Can anyone give me a crash course on it?
My rule of thumb. How can I get the best out of this mode? Can I get into snap cryptic loop?
So I've been trying new things. Long story short going back to original list for an iq this weekend. Hopefully I don't miss play to much
Whats the "original list" Im curious
Basically Cory burckhart list. I ended up 2-3. Started off really good. Then my luck and bad keeps and some small miss plays. Oh well. Deck doing well. I'm gonna stay on my list for awhile
Hey, i just made a grixis control deck because of the new MM reprints.
It is a pretty staple list, would like to know for the tron decks. Can we just play blood moon and curve our mana base towards it? Fulminator mage + surgical combo to against tron is pretty mediocre because its less than 5 cards for that match up. I also didn't like AV as much as thought scour when tasigur are key cards vs. the mirror and most of our match ups to block out pushes.
I also love the 1 of torrential gearhulk because its a massive body and recurring cryptic or kolag command again is very nice. Also, what is the best ratio of thoughtseize to inquisition? Should i just prepare knowing that "x" tournament is most death shadow, so i should play 4 inquisition 2 thought seize, then SB 2?
I'm got 3x inquisition and 2x thoughtseize main. I put spell snare and countersquall in side. It's working great so far. I still need to test it more.
I don't like fatcaster mage. To slow for me. Besides we got 4x snapcaster. For that exact reason. However it is a fast clock.

I like to thoughtscour them and surgical any lands and threats I see. A snap+thoughtscour won be a match up vs tron before
