With 4 ichorclaw, you ought to consider at least 1-2 rancor. A 6/3 trampler when blocked is nothing to sneeze at. If not, necropede might be better, considering that when it dies, it can double as a removal spell for x/1 creatures. Either creature, though, is a non-bo with corrupter, so you might want to consider the new cycling artifact destruction card as a replacement.

Nice list how's that peek working for ya?

I did the same, swapping a twisted image for peek. I like it quite a bit. Even splinter twin ran peek as a one-of.

Hey man, I actually did the stinger splash, it wasn't bad.some folks like ichor claw myr as the 13th infecter, but i lean towards dryad arbor. With wild defiance in the deck, your pump spells can easily get a natural damage kill with arbor or noble, and since any fetch can go get arbor, you are rarely without a surprise creature. It has been the best option for me, but stinger seems good right now, as you will not encounter many blockers aside from delver or opposing inkmoths, and neither are super popular right now. Martin juza had some success with black, running 4 dismember in the side along with stinger and one overgrown tomb.

After watching bob on twitch, it seems like you have to just go for it sometimes. I noticed that if he could get a grizz out with enough life to draw 14 (actually 21 after attacking!), he would opt for that over a safer play like through the breach into worldspine. With that many cards, the odds of hitting shoal are good enough to warrant going for the full kill rather than give the opponent time to draw out an answer. The shoal version lets you make riskier plays like this, as once you start chaining them, the deck feels invincible. Best pact of negation deck in modern!

Pros copy decks. Usually the 'new' deck they show up with was cut and pasted from mtgo. Most players known for 'their' decks did not create them. Pros are no better, they just have more time to devote.

If you are running 20 lands, if you want 8 fetches for become immense or groundswell, you could have 2 breeding pool, 2 forest, 2 pendelhaven, 2 sanctum. Past that, you would have to start cutting cards. Depends on how many fetches you want. Etb tapped is very bad news for infect, and could cost you the game. I say 1-2 max, 3 would be ok with proper setup. With no 'swell and a focus on blossoming defense, maybe 4.

The list looks good, and its the same idea i had. Cutting probe and adding sanctum means tons less life loss. Groundswell lists are faster than become immense lists, i played infect before khans, and the turn 3 rate is higher. Extra blue sources means easier serum visions, though if i were to change this list, it would be to cut visions. Rather have the wild defiance+dryad arbor combo, or more mutagenic for higher turn 3 rate, but again, maybe he is thinking of conserving life. I think players should at least try this new list. If you really want 4 become immense, street wraith is functionally the same for delve, but the new list can survive longer against burn/aggro.

Maybe i was lucky, but i don't ever remember having to draw actual cards off cathartic, that's how good troll was. I like haunted dead; some times i need a discard outlet, and scourge devil is nice, but not enough xtra damage to guarantee a win. Anyone ever try dregscape zombie for a cheap way to recur amalgam? One black is a bargain for such an effect.

If i were to run unburial rites,it would be for elesh norn or iona. I like the idea of a combo, but elesh or iona can do work even without a board presence. Rally the peasants can usually get me an alpha strike as it is. Turn 3 rally just won me a game yesterday against bogles!

If you cut down to 2 become immense, the deck will no longer need as many fetches. Maybe now we can run 3-4 botanical sanctum to keep the life loss down. The ease of painless blue sources could make running serum visions/sleight more appealing.

Zomgarc, Slip might be better as d. Strike, the +1 is relevant. 2 apostles blessing is rough against burn, maybe replace one with blossoming defense. If dismember is too much life loss, piracy charm can kill x1's like lavamancer or vault skirge. Plus, it doubles as a mini pump spell or islandwalk evasion.corrupter in the main has proven it's worth: killing problem artifacts, savable from bolt by mutagenic, and can kill pesky x/2s like goblin guide. I like the md defiance with dryad arbor. If you have a fetch and wd, you have a threat! Slap a d.strike on him or a rancor, and you've got yourself a normal damage kill! Love it. Arbor is good against burn. Try a couple botanical sanctum over 2 of those breeding pools; your life total will thank you. Solid list.

Has anyone tried beast within? Seems good, easy to cast, destroys ANYTHING and the downside of an opposing 3/3 doesnt seem so bad against a deck so full of beef as ours.

If you cant afford finks right now, a split of pulse of murasa/ wall of roots works pretty well too.

Switching become immense #4 to groundswell makes a lot of sense, I'm always deliberating that slot. I'll draw too many BI, get pissed, put in groundswell, and then wish it was BI again. Overall it's about the same, can't have it both ways all the time Wink
