Went 2-2 with a GU deck. All my rares were GU but one, and they were clearly the best colors, but I had only 1 emerge card and it was black. I also only had 1 investigate card, and it was unplayable. I went with a self-mill/delirium/flicker deck. It was OK but definitely not great.
I went 3-0 at a two-headed giant. I played BGU self-mill/zombie tribal/meld and my partner played RGW with both human and werewolf tribal. In game 1 we won when my partner wiped our opponents' boards with Nahiri's Wrath (which is insane in limited), in game 2 we won when I melded the rats and scavengers, and in game 3 we won by doing both on the same turn.
Constrictor + Gitrog Monster + Alhammarret's Archive with a lot of lands in deck gives you discard a land: draw 2 cards, repeat. Draw tons of cards or even entire library and create huge snake, cast Slip Through Space for the win.
I doubt that we will have 9 more green cards after the green intro pack rare. I predict we will have at least 10 gold cards, and white will end up having a few more cards than other colors due to emerge costs on the colorless Eldrazi.
I ordered four copies of Cryptolith Rite online recently and put all four into a deck. While using that deck I noticed that one had different artwork than the other three. It has several eyes appearing on the right side of the image, which decrease in size as they wrap around the cryptolith. They remind me of the eyes on Kozilek and his spawn. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
