Seems like an interesting creature. If I am reading it correctly, it looks like he should trigger off his own fight trigger, and will most likely be able to take out several of an opponents creatures, and then for his last trigger, you can target him to their biggest creature. Seems really strong with recurring nightmare since you can get him to the graveyard if your opponent has no response, and still has creatures you need to deal with. Not sure if he is the best big guy out there, but I think he will be fun to mess around with at least a few times.

I would cut workshop over probe though. Even if you support the artifact deck, it's a little too niche. Gitaxian probe can play in any deck and I would personally prefer the versatility. There are only so many spots for artifact support cards and workshop is pretty low on that list.

What do you recommend? Don't want to make formatting a barrier to participation--the only extra thing I will ask is that people use spoiler tags. Beyond that, I was just going to have them number 1-20 and name the cards:

    1. Card A
    2. Card B ....
    20. Card C

I would recommend something along the lines of:

I recommend not having people use numbers in and just the name of the card, and ask each voter to make sure the image pop's up for the card if they move mouse over (saves issues with slight differences in spellings in cards like Jace, the Mind Sculptor where there are commas, or other cards with ' etc.

You may want to request that voters use a certain format or something, last time i helped do a few of the calculations, and one thing that took more time than you would think is making the data consistent so you can put itnto an excel format or slmething wothout spending to much time edditing it.

I guess an important question to ask is what is the purpose of the ranking? Is it to generate a pick order list for someone who is drafting? or is it more for cube designers a list that they should think about including in there cube (provided they are building a cube to the same standards of most powerful cube etc). When I first started building my cube I found these rankings mostly useful for that purpose. If that is the case, the metric could focus on that aspect. Maybe something along the lines of "how important this card is to the overall cube experience?" Any metric we pick is subjective, but this might capture the heart of what the list is trying to do.

Also, if Noble Hierarch is Bant, then the Mox should probably be in there respective colors and not in colorless? This would also make an argument that there could possibly be a [mana]WURBGa] section, and Black Lotus, City of Brass and the like would go there since they are intrinsically best in 5 color decks. (not arguing that we should have a 5 color section, but simply pointing out the flaw in using the "intrinsically best" isn't quite the line that makes sense to me.

Just my 2 pence, but I like the idea of voting on cards that can be cast by a single color but have tribrid like abilities to be voted on in both sections. I think this would give the most useful information to members of the community. Most cubes that are small can't run a card in each shard but are still probably interested in looking at Noble Hierarch, but cubes that are big enough and run cards for each shard / clan etc maybe inclined to include it there.

Am I missing something, I don't think this is very good.
Her first ability in cube probably does very little other than give her a counter,
Her second ability puts 2 1/1's on the board but they can't protect her, and her third ability while powerful, you still have to have the open mana to do so and there is a good chance she will come down, -2 her cast a spell from the graveyard, and then she will die the next turn. As a ceiling she will be able to do it 1 more time. I would be more interested in this if the tokens survived at least, but as is, seems really bad unless you are really deep on tokens or something.

That is too bad. I wonder if we could host a similar form on manaburn.org? It's slowly becoming as good or better than cube tutor. I reached out to him and let's see if we get a response. I also found a few tools that allow for website forums to be easily generated. They cost a little bit to use as a monthly fee which is out of my budget right now, but it could be a start. If we want to make this happen, I am sure we can find a way to find a place. I really like having forums that are easy to search, and have old information on them compared to say reddit, where after 1 week the thread seems to get lost for ever and is way less organized.

Edit: Update So Far. Manaburn said they would be willing to do it if there is some value to it. Doesn't mean he will, if it's a place you would like to move the forums, maybe comment below to show your support of the community?

Slightly off topic, but are Talismans/Signets better than the other generic 2-drop mana rocks? I'm not running any of them right now, but I am running Mind Stone, Coldsteel Heart, Everflowing Chalice, and Sphere of the Suns. At 360, it seems really difficult to find space for 10 2-drop mana rocks. Am I making a mistake?

At 360 I prefer the generic 2 mana cards. You can always argue both ways, but I think at 350, running 10 of them is 2 many for most cube designs.
