Ancestor of Vizier of the Menagerie.
While the snek only reveals info to yourself, costs half mana and fixes mana for you (for whatever reason), this is still a good card.
Last time i've played it, it was included in one of those Open House decks, teaching a friend of mine how to play MTG. Of course i ran into the usual problem with overcosted support cards - i didn't get to do anything with it the turn i played it. The turn after it felt great going to town with the whole engine glued to a big body, though.
If i had a fatso deck like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Surrak, the Hunt Caller or maybe even Yeva, Nature's Herald, i could see myself including it, if Vizier of the Menagerie wasn't enough to do the job.
Other than the effect i'm always a bit cautious with revealing my top deck, as that's a lot of info to give away. Hence, i chose Precognition Field over Future Sight for my mono- deck.
Oracle of Mul Daya combined with a ton of shuffling in Omnath, Locus of Rage is simply amazing though!
7/10, 11/10 for Timmys.
