ok i played my Body Double targeting my Vesuvan Shapeshifter my friend said that the Vesuvan Shapeshifter does not copy a creature because technically it does not come into play the Body Double comes into copying the Vesuvan Shapeshifter which is already in play thus leaving it as a 0/0 i disagreed but let it go
i was the newb who thought i can keep my Dark Ritual with my lands because is was a mana source
i also play with a newb who thinks all countering of a spells should be banned i mean come on i just spent 8 mana for my akroma and you just spent 2 to to get rid of it
Ok I have a question about permanents leaving the game once the owner loses in a group game. Example 1: Say player A takes player B Akroma, Angel of wrath with Empress Galina and on player C turn he kills player B will player A still have players B Akroma Angel of wrath or will it leave play? Example 2: Say player A plays Storm Herd and player B plays Spelljack and keeps Storm Heard removed from the game Then on player C turn they kill player A will Storm Herd leave with player A thus leaving player B no spell to play?

The 2nd Angelfire game doesn't really count as he kept an extremely greedy 1-lander on the play. 2 Remand, 2 Riftwing (Angelfire, not Touch-Blink) and signet.
Incinerate and Last Gasp be damned, Skeletal Vampire is still Bat Man. MGA cannot get past this guy.
This is 4th 4-0 I've had in a row, although only 2nd with the Tim-He styled list.
Comments:
Remand is fantastic again, thanks so much to RWU Touch-Blink, the 9th -> Xth rotation (no Kird Ape, Persecute, Rewind, Savannah Lions or Seething Song) and also decks like OmniChord. It's still SB'd out against the right decks, but without it you'll struggle against aggro-tempo decks.
Condemn is just ridiculously good against the meta right now. With the lack of hard counters and hasted creatures (other than Giant Solifuge), I've never been this happy to see a Lightning Angel opposite me on turn 3.
The exchange of Compulsive Research into a Tidings and Forsee package is really quite inspired. The deck actually functions like a 23 land deck + signets instead of 23 + signets, minus some early cards. We've all had games when we ripped single lands off the CR and weren't amused at all.
Tidings - a Solar Flare deck with Tidings will beat the Solar Flare deck without it. Pure card advantage, if 61 cards was the minimum then a 3rd would be my 61st. I strongly endorse playing this card now that Dralnu is effectively a 4-5% meta deck.
Things I've tested but weren't in yesterdays list:
Crozax, Ascendant Hero - he's terrific against R/x and MGA. I think he might be better than Akroma in 6 signet builds due to his casting cost and separately his almost unkillable nature once he resolves. But he doesn't end games in 2 turns either, so it's likely a personal/meta choice. I'd play 2 if MGA and R/x is heavily played where you are. Very solid against Project X as well as he removes Essence Warden as long as he's in play.
Take Possession - I just can't see this being good enough right now when OmniChord is Willbender central. However, it's almost a game-over card against Aggro-Loam in many instances, so worth keeping SB if you expect to see that deck. MD 1 instead of an AoD or Court Hussar if you like it a lot.

I think the real question is what's the tech against OmniChord/Shifter... and I think Slaughter Pact remains the answer. Time Stop in resp. to a Chord perhaps... ? It is quite hard to justify Condemn AND Slaughter Pact in the same SB with FF and Mortify. So I think if 3-4 Slaughter Pact were to be included, you'd drop a FF, an Extirpate/Castigate and a Condemn for 3 of them.
Haunting Hymm - I really like this card, but it's a control only card. not for Angelfire IMO as you need life and control of early game followed up by a strong threat (Bat Man, AoD, resolved and path cleared AC) more so than a Remand'ed Hymm.
yeah any build of solar flair should run that tournment crap decks all over the only deck that gives you a challenge is the angelfire
i went 3-2 friday with 4 black/green rack decks, 2 blink touch, 2 angelfire, and a dredge decks it gets pretty tough and that just half of the 20 people the other half are crap
i played two b/g rack decks in a row i won against the first then the second was a crash and burn after that i lost to a close game against angelfire
Its not very heavily played in my meta at least. maybe yours but not mine.
There are a few different builds of blink-touch and I think that U/W/G which has hard counters mystic snake, coupled with blink can pretty much be a game over after the first few turns of bounce.
Everything else you said I can pretty much agree with.

ive already lost twice to pariah + stuffy doll, once each with angelfire and flare and its starting to get annoying. in some angelfire builds there is literally no way to get past that ( unless hellbent demonfire circumvents pariah, im not too sure) and in flare its only angel of despair or hoping to nab it with castigate. i know post sb this wont be too much of a problem since we'll have disenchants coming in, but it kinda irks me that 2 cards almost mean a loss. btw im using the build that top 8'd US nationals.
any thoughts on this matter?
you should be able to stand ok with castigate and remand s/b in take possession can help alot as well with distress if none of thoes work then play with a diffrent deck
this is my solar flair ive been running for the last few weeks ive place first once (undefeated 5-0) other nights ill get 2 or 3rd (usually 4-1) or some nights ill get knocked off with 2 loses the only problem decks i run into are Black/Green rack and black/blue teferi for the most part i do ok against anglefire, Korlash control and any red burn/redgreen gruul any comments?
Ok heres a question say I attack with my friend with a Mindleech Mass and the mindleech mass ability goes off after damage is dealt and say he has a suspend card like lotus bloom or a transmute card like Dimir House Guard can I play that ability of the card I choose??
i feel that your trying to overload the deck too much i havent tested it yet but does Detritivore make that much a an improvment to splash red in for him i would rather stick with remands and fetters does your sidebord splah any red spells i presonally feel that chronicler is better
How do you folks feel about Mortify in the MD? I just came back from FNM (3-1, good old mana screw!) and ran Mortify in the MD, to test it out. It definitely won me at least on my matches, and I'm very happy I ran it.
the only reason to put mortify in is for the enchantment buster/creature destroy but wrath//damnation takes that place theirs no real big enchantment problems that make or break a game 1 so i would say no

Faith's Fetters helps alot along with Aven Riftwatcher i MB 3x fetters and SB 3x riftwatchers
