so .7% of 390000 means there are 2730 Jedi Knights in the UK. Interesting.

I had a deck like this a while ago that was WR, basically all the pro red dudes + burn/clasm effects, maybe even gargadon was in there. The deck's biggest problem that eventually led me to scrapping it was that against non-red decks, the creatures were just too weak to race. That, and also the fact that control could really easily deal with this due to our little evasion and virtually no card advantage (and dead cards)

noticed that you have 0 two drops, so if you don't get a mana accelerator you have a really bad curve. maybe try and fit in some combination of wall of roots, bitterblossom, or goyf. Oh, and maybe even run something like 1 sapseed forest for sh*ts and giggles, considering it can be fetched with acid-moss

I could see the 29th art (one mr. feeny just pointed out) as being the howltooth hollow creature. The shape of its face kind of resembles that on the hollow. The setting also makes sense. The dark spines on it's back look a lot like the background of the land.

"I find your lack of Greater Gargadons disturbing"

Seriously, this guy has been in all my countryside crusher (Ron Paul) decks and it has been amazing. IF you are going more casual, haze of rage seems good (if you don't have crusher out) as it can do some stupid stuff with buyback and dryad.

Personally, I like Temporal Extortion, but I'm not sure it's a good or really, even playable card.

If you can consistently drop it turn 3 or 4, then I might say it's borderline good, but even then I'm not so sure.

I really like the card, though.

NO. NO. No. Any card that gives your opponent an option of what to do is TERRIBLE. (except for FOF). Temporal extortion is no different. BBBB, target opponent controls the spell that you wasted your 4th turn on to cast and shuts it down to lowest possible harm it could do. Crappy, CRAPPY card.

Reading Crusher would be nice. It says whenever a land is put INTO YOUR GRAVEYARD put a counter on him.

So, for everyone whining about not having a fourth land in hand when dropping the Crusher, you're idiots. Kinship is optional, so you can keep drawing as normal until you hit your Brion land, then use kinship every turn.

Problem with this is that the crusher doesn't have kinship and the ability isn't optional.

Cool token arts, where are these from? Imo the 3rd art looks kind of like its "unraveling", maybe a changeling? The last art looks to human, not sure what that could be

Yeah, Profane command is good. Btw, anyone been testing the mirror? I was doing it a lot last night and noticed that it was basicaly whoever got the profance command first won. Also, the # of nonbasics (mouths, conclaves, factory) play a big part in the matchup. I know in larger tournaments the matchup people test the least against is the mirror, so I figured it would be best to know how to play against ourselves.

    but it's a little cost-heavy.

Well, considering we have 25-26 land and we would only play it late into the game when they have a threat (factory, guile, teferi, etc) I dont think the cost is much of a problem. It's not like we are on that huge of a clock.

Right now I have 2 in the SB, but that number might change.

What do you think of Take Possession in the board against sonic boom/other control. In testing it has been working nicely, for instance against my friend who was playing sonic boom. we were neck in neck until he taps out for the guile. On my next turn I untap and take possesion it, he then reveals 2 pacts in hand. Seriously, this card wrecks teferi and guilde, and the only out I can think of is venser, which they run 2 of (and so do we)

Not to mention, it's also pretty tech against planeswalkers.

@ Shinjutsei- Is there any reason you're not running treetop village? Does the CIPT hurt that much? Well I just started playing this deck and was wondering what the optimal # of saffi/doran is. Also, how are this decks MUs against U aggro such as faeries/merfolk? Much appreciated

Jotun Grunt seems like he might work in here, although ill admit he has some dissynergy with tombstalker. He is good hate against goyf and haakons and can help you re-use your discard and derms. If you keep with that theme then maybe stonecloaker would be nice. He can put your oponent in a bad position and he has synergy with the derm.

  • posted a message on U/W/B Elixir Blink - Please critique

Story circle is a must-include in the sb, and maybe Tividar of Thorn.

It sounds good in theory, but it would proabaly be much worse in practice (talking about story circle) most builds only run around 2 basic plains. All our other land that produce white are either limited (vivids) or burn us (pain lands) The card is so powerful however, it may be worth a try. Teferi's moat might be worth testing.

Would Puppeteer be a good fit for this deck?

IMO he isn't that great. he isn't that good with elixer and is terrible without it because he requires mana to use his abilty, meaning you are going to need around 2-4 mana for him, mana I want to have open for blink effects and vesners. I don't think we want to make the entire deck based on elixer.
