I run a homebrew deck I call Nayan Angels. Early game is mana-dorks and land ramp. Midgame is Huntmaster, Reckoner, Thragtusk and Resto. Late-game is Sigarda, Gisella, Aurelia and Angelic Skirmisher.

Since regeneration goes on the stack and has to be resolved, you'd either have to make sure to regenerate Experiment One before combat damage or after damage only if it has less damage marked on it than it's toughness will be after taking the counters off.

I don't think we've heard of a replacement series past this one though - they may finally have realized the books only sell because of the promos.

I'd love to see this be the end of Dack's story for now. But have more series continue on telling other stories of other planeswalkers, maybe even ones that already exist but don't have anything to do with the current storylines. Just out doing small 4 issue adventures.

And of course, keep the promos coming.

The sad history of IDW is that no date from them is set in stone. Nothing is for sure until it pops up on the Next Weeks Releases lists. The original timeframe on ComicList (if I recall correctly) had issue 4 out the last week of January.

All that being said, as a Vorthos I'm glad that these comics are being released (and the promos are a nice bonus), so as long as it gets released I'm happy.

I have a question about an odd possible rules interaction:

Let's say for the sake of argument, Player 1 attacks with Excruciator and Player 2 blocks with Kor Firewalker. What happens?

One card says it can't be dealt damage by a red source, and the other says the damage has to happen. My instinct says that protection still wins the day, but I'm not certain.

Nice. Very very nice. Great choice, playable in all formats.

Here in Mississauga (and most of the GTA), the going-rate most LGS have it at is $100 for a box or $130 for a box and a fatpack. Prices include tax if paying cash, but you have up until 2 weeks before release to order.

And one store lets you pre-order a case for $550, same rules.

In my local gaming stores, we refer to activating Scion of the Ur-Dragon's ability as "Digivolving".
And I got into a habbit of saying "Hulk Smash" when attacking with Prineval Titan and/or Gaea's Revenge.
