Mirror entity doesn't interact with the Baron at all, save that it's a spell with a 2 in it's mana cost, and a 1 in it's printed power/toughness. Mirror entity's ability effects your creatures that are in play, not on the stack, and activating an ability is not casting a spell, so I don't know why you think that's a combo...
Wurmcalling and Fanning the Flames do what you're looking for, as x is equal to the value you set it at while the spell is on the stack, (which is when the Baron checks for numbers), and have buyback so you can hit all the relevant numerals.

Feb 5, 2014ccggenius12 posted a message on Launch Giveaway!I'm one of those horrible people who loves running four Hymn to Tourach. You can add it to pretty much any black deck and instantly make it better. It's like the bacon of black cards.Posted in: Announcements

I will yield that this is invalidated in the UWR matchup. However, the thing is, the creatures mono red does have only have one toughness. Unless you are running the mirror against them, you should be the control against them. RR -> (usually)Fog + Sparkspray to the dome seems really good.
I could see this card played in some boros builds, as opposed to trying to pack a late game alternative. It buys you time to beat RDW, in addition to being amazing-good in pretty much every non-UWR matchup. I'd invest in the playset. Even if it ends up sucking, it's a common, so you're out maybe a dollar.

When you put this spell on the stack, your opponent may pay 1 to put a copy of ~ on the stack targetting this spell.
Counter target spell.
However, this idea seems strictly better than x cost counterspells such as Broken Ambitions as it represents the same threat without requiring the same initial mana investment. If the caster has more mana, there is little point in engaging in a bidding war that cannot be won.
If god exists and he cares, you go to heaven. If god exists and could care less, you are no worse off than if you did not pray. If he does not exist you are no better or worse off whether or not you pray.
Basically, as there is potential for reward from faith, but no punishment for it, game theory dictates that a logical individual would pray. Naturally, this has little application in real life, as humans are as a rule not logical, and make a point of punishing each other based on arbitrary distinctions such as faith(or lack thereof).
The only content which you cannot earn by playing the game are skins, and those are far from essential. All heroes and runes are unlocked by spending Influence Points in the in game store, and you earn IP by doing something you were probably going to do anyhow, play the game. Granted, you can spend money if you want your hero NOW, but no one is forcing you to. Each week, there is a list of 10 heroes Riot has made free to play for that week, as a try it before you buy it approach. It should be noted that runes CANNOT be bought with cash, only with IP, this is because they do not believe in selling tangible in game benefits, only cosmetic ones.
BTW, as I understand it, if you sign up before the 17 and they win a gamerscore reward, everyone is going to be given a free skin of a particular hero. (details at their website... somewhere.)
As to DotA being stolen, that is no reason to not play a good game. It might have started buggy, but it most definitely is not now. The "theft" is irrelevant, as first and foremost, all mods are property of Blizzard, its in the terms of use agreement. Second, you can't really be suggesting that improving or maximizing the potential of anothers work is grounds for not using that product. If it wasn't better than Eul's DotA, people would not have played it, considering that there is no cost associated with switching back.
Regardless of your stance on DotA, the fact remains that League of Legends has several significant improvements over the original and Allstars, including a more user friendly interface not limited by the WC3 engine, benefits that carry between games with your user profile, and emotes. (that last one obv has no effect on gameplay, but it's nice to be able to make your hero dance on command.) At least give it a few games before you dismiss it as crap. It even has a practice mode so you can try and figure out how to not be complete fail when you start playing against people.

2 mailings ago my count was due for a Textless foil, but did not contain one. I assumed it would be in the next, but was not. Who/where do I contact to get this corrected?
anywhoo... Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I respect the opinion of Anime Insider, and Irresposible Captain Tylor comes with their recommendation. It's been in their articles and they even got quoted on the box.
I've heard Angel Links was pretty good, and it's a spinoff that takes place in the same universe as Outlaw Star, which it seems we can agree was pretty good.
The Chromartie High anime was a passable series, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been watching it marathon style. Most of the animation budget appears to have been spent on the characters hair, and Freddy Mercury is a supporting character.
Upon further review of your list, I see you haven't watched Excel Saga yet. If you can get ahold of it, it should take precidence over everything else I have recommended. If you have watched a lot of anime, It will have you laughing a lot.
Also, have you just watched Tenchi Muyo, or all of them? Currently, there is Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo, Tenchi Muyo(they havent re-released this one yet ) Tenchi Muyo GXP, Tenchi Muyo Ryo'Oki ovas, in addition to 3 movies, the Mihoshi and Pretty Sammy OVAs, and the spinoff series that as far as I can tell is completely unrelated, exempting the characters, Sasami. While each item stands on it's own, if you really enjoyed the characters, there is plenty of them to go around.
One more item to think about. If you watched Lupin III on Adult Swim and enjoyed it, there is a lot more to the series. Adult Swim aired about 20 episodes from the middle of the series, but Funimation put out a bit more. It is still nowhere near a complete release, but they have 10 of the TV specials available in two 5 special box sets. In addition to those, Lupin III: Castle of Caligostro is in america via Manga Entertainment, and comes recommended by Steven Spielburg. It was directed by Miyazaki so you know its good.
Expect the possibility of more to come.
I guess we dont have that issue at our store. drafts are split up into 8 man pods (or as close as possible, 10 man and 6 mans also happen). each pod keeps its rare pool separate from the others, and play is only within the pod. In short, you really do get payed out for skill in this because what you drafted cant be beaten by what Charlie got 2 tables over with 7 noobs surrounding him.
@ Lord Psychodin:
As a matter of fact, they can deny you the right to draft if you don't want to follow their prize structure. They are a business and reserve the right to refuse service to a customer for any reason.
One other thing. People have been complaining that despite having the l333tzorz skillz, backdrafting doesnt reward them because they can still get landscrewed, playscrewed, draftscrewed, etc. That is completely hippocritical. So if you luck into a rare its fine, but if you luck out of one it isn't? You're basically just complaining that someone who isn't you is better off. In the long run, probability dictates that better play skill will in fact lead to better prize payout, as consistency will consistently beat randomness. Perhaps you aren't as good as you have deluded yourself into thinking you are?
The same people tend to win at either of them, and I generally place in the top 4 in my pod. I usually end up just short of the money rares, but am not bitter. It cost less, and I'm getting better at drafting. The fact of the matter is, If you keep what you open, you have no incentive to get better at drafting. I find that packs alone tend to not be sufficient to motivate someone to play better.
For those saying that redrafting keeps the worse players down, I would disagree. While it might initially keep them down in constructed in the beginning, this assumes that someone is using draft as their primary source of cards for constructed. If your store redrafts, and you dont do well, just buy singles... cracking packs has never been the best way to build a constructed deck, and keeping your rares will not change that. All the redraft does is make it a viable option for people who do well in limited, and I see nothing wrong with that. You are informed before hand that that is the prize structure and have no right to complain if you dont get to keep the Baneslayer you opened.
It has no effect on their drafting, as cards don't carry over from one pool to the next. For someone who focuses mostly on limited, all that a redraft means is that everyone is going to be drafting like they would in a top 8 in a PTQ or what have you. It seems to me that increasing the quality of the experience, and thus your experience can only be a good thing. If you don't win the first time, try again. Get better. Eventually, you'll be at the top. The money rares I have won have more value to me then the ones I have opened, because I earned them.
Honestly, if you don't want to get better at drafting, why are you doing it in the first place...
