That deck is still really powerful, and without clean answers to most of their threats, and a mediocre burn plan, I don't think moon is favoured by much, if at all.

From my experience i get let the ds player get themselves low life and just burn them to death. Likewise, game 2-3, our sb crushes them.

Hi guys. I am looking for some feedback for my Titi control deck. I have been going 3-1, 4-0 (4-0 more common) at my modern events. I love how titi and the blood moon win games by themselves, and you can play the hard control plan too. I however find, burn/8wack/goblins to be a little sketchy(like 1-2 life away from losing sketchy) and i am looking for ways to improve the match up in my sb.

I used to be on 2 dispel and 1 batterskul, but i realy realy like batterkul for grindy games.
In a perfect world I would like to have 3 dispel, 1 batterskull, but all of the other sb cards i have.
I can also see trimming jace, and moving an Entrancing melody to the main.

Has anyone else been testing with Whispers/Manamorphose? I've been tinkering with a 4-color list splashing blue and have found that both cards are just bananas. I still need a lot more games to be comfortable knowing when and what number to side out, but adding those cards as well as dropping LoTV and going to 17 lands has made the deck feel super smooth. I find myself getting early delirium very consistently, and something like T1 Thoughtseize/Push followed by T2 Whispers normally leads to a steamroll. I'd love to hear other opinions or about other experiences with this!

After the success of my sultai whisper deck ( one time on steam i will admits, but localy has been pulling work), i will be trying to be playing a 4c version with manamorophose.
http://www.metamox.com/deck/modern-jund-death-s-shadow/201703/ note: IoK can and will be replaced by Whisper in the list.
Might be awhile before i can tested it fully tho, having too much fun with Titi blue moon control in modern.

Im personally not a big fan of 4c ds lists. I just hate having the manabase work against me sometimes, like i can def see the stomping grounds kicking you in the butt, cuz black is your highest mana color, but manamophase can help there. I think ds works best as Black Green deck splash X with X being either red or blue. Jund has been considered the best color to ally with, but as you can see sultai looks peaty good also.

Rise//fall can be an option, but it can be hard on the mana base. We can all talk the good talk, but we still need to test the lists to see if they work out.

Vs humans, just crunch in with removal tarmo and ds, and plow through them our creatures, who are way better. As for go wide we have our sb to help with that. DS is one of those decks that can beat anything imo, just comes done to skill of the pilot and some of the card choices in the main and sb. I wanted to see how hymn would work since all the midrange decks would try to play BBE to out value people. DS on the other had out values people by playing super efficient cards similar to legacy delver. Playing a hymn card in modern in a ds deck feel backbreaking for ops imo. I tested sultai ds first as my hymn deck because i wanted access to traverse and tarmo, and thoughtscour. But when testing, i found toughtscour was pure air and did nothing for the deck. So i decided to put in opts. But even they can be replaced imo i think hard to tell. I like the idea of the manamorphose to enable instants in the gy. How ever ds can sometime durdle on 1 land sometimes so thats why i tend to avoid manamophse too much.

The main is real solid imo esp all the numbers. I did a lot of playtesting with the deck to ensure the numbers in the main where right, 2x snaps, 3x travers, 17 lands, 1x grimflayer. Sb was more of a slight reaction to boggles, but i change the sb to help with more aggro match ups. I changed one Opt into a Architect of Will, to enable black mana cantriping. I cna def see whisper of emrakul work in manamorphose jund lists , just straight up cuting the IoK for whisper as a futur idea.

    Hi there,
So i've been doing some testing, using all the info from others, and here is a list "i came up with."
    Dredgevine list : http://www.metamox.com/deck/modern-dredgevine-1/96268/

from testing its a turn 4-6 kill preaty consistent, and game 1 we have a huge advantage.
However post sb i lose significantly more games than usual to sb hate. Is there a proper formula to how to sb.

Combo/control : bring in Thoughtseize and abrupt decay (if white), take out Michael Jackson (i hope u get it)
aggro/infect/burn/zoo : bring in Gnaw the Bone, darkblast, cut jackson again
affinity : Bring in the Grudges and darkblast cut Jackson again.
as you can see almost post game i am cutting Insolent Neonate out is that correct thing to do?

Insolent Neonate seems to be the best of this spoiler season. This will give the deck so much more consistency and it is a 1-drop. It is a complete synergy hit with the rest of the deck: very good with Dredge (discard first, and then dredge), good with Vengevine (discard it and Vengevine loves 1-drops) and generally is very good in balancing your hand. This guy has menace and is a great recipient of a bunch of +1/+1 counters for Varolz.

I am still very disappointed by MTGO, where Varolz, the Scar-Striped IS STILL BUGGED GrrrAAAAAH . Next MTGO build will be in several weeks and even then I can't be sure it gets fixed. My deck is basically banned on MTGO Frown
    Super frustrating.

Hi guys back again after playing a modern night with dredgevine.
A few things i have notice is the fact that there are no zombie that we have that we can dredge out and put onto the battlefield to get our gravecrawlers out from the gy.
We have to relly on top decking or having a zombie in our hand to enable our gravecrawlers. I was thinking of running a one off Golgari Thug top solve this. Thoughts?

    thanks for any feed back.
You can consider Rotting Rats or Dregscape Zombie for recurring Gravecrawlers.

Wow thanks fo those to cheap and effect cards that i can use to get my gravecrawlers out.

thing is if i have an empty board and have nothing to sack into Tymaret , what do i do? I feel Golgari troll i can at least dredge him and use his ability. Maybe with the new U/B zombie things can get easier or are there any other zombies that can come out of the gy?

I have all the cards ready for my next Fnm. You think the list is solid enough until SOI.

Hi guys, first time posting here.
Getting a little burnt out in modern so i decided to play a deck ive never played yet. dredgevine :D!
Looking at other people list and gameplay I made a fairly "stock" list of vine lists that people are running with some spice which i would like to play with.
Guys have any further suggestions for my list? I feel that i can cut the bloodghast since the overall consensus on then is that they are very bad for defending and bushwacker will work better with him.
