I have been having a lot of success with vampire madness.
I would add falkenrath gorgerx4 and fleetwheel cruiser . Also stromkirk condmmed key to city would be great madness engine's as well. I would run incendiary flows as well. If you go to six artifacts I would recommend unlicensed destruction(it's something like that). Its a murder but you hit the person for three if you control an artifact Works wonders when they play a big a creature or clearing a blocker for a big turn.

    4. Allow players to add an additional booster to their pools each week and/or after three losses. It’s not necessary to report match results to Wizards, but you're welcome to track wins and losses as you see fit. (For example, you might keep league match cards at the store and have players report results as the league goes on).

is this a single pack after their third loss, or one after every third loss? if it's the first, why not just give 4 packs at the beginning? it's only punishing the successful. if it's the second, good luck ever getting this off the ground. the price to the stores (and thus, to the players) is absurd. it's already at 6 boosters per player, 7 packs puts entry at $20 bare minimum or $30 at retail, with little extra prize beyond the promos. 9+ packs puts it out of most everyone's reach. I hope I'm just overthinking their wording...

I think it's 3 packs at the beginning and if you want you can buy another booster each week. Every third lose grants the right to buy a booster as well. I would love to participate but I haven't seen any lcs advertise about it.

    Beat someone with this combo:
Inquisitors ox + gyrffs boon + uncaged fury. He had an angel blocker to block my other flying werewolf but didn't see that combo coming.lol

Last week fnm draft I get junk rares but solid uncommon and build red white wolves deck. Was a lot of fun to play but I couldn't put two wins together. My last match playing green black he hits his god hand and steam rolls me. Fine, that happens move on to game 2. He puts the beat on me but makes a mistake in making that fat black land consuming worm and buffing it to 9/9. I have the red card that steals a creature for a Turn and gives +2. With uncaged fury he has 26 life at this time so its enough for lethal. He looks over his hand for mintue and lays that mutagen card that gives the creature lifelink to the caster. What way to be defeated.

the various characters constantly forgot their powers, especially apocalypse. He's supposed to be some unstopable badass but most does nothing except have oscar isaac not be able to have emotions because of the frankly B grade prosthetics. In the final fight he should have been able to just sink the heroes into whatever material was available - he destroys all of cairo in under a minute - but apparently forgets. But that's ok, because Magneto ALSO forgets that as well as through stuff that has no effect, he can blast at apocalypse from the ground under him - you know, the thing he is trying to do to destroy the world.
To be fair this is an issue in the comics as well. Most of comics featuring Apocalypse end with him being defeated in an unsatisfactory way after the comic authors have built him up to be an unstoppable god like figure.

I also want to know how much of the entire world did Magneto destroy before he flipped back to good just at the end. It showed him causing widespread destruction on several continents, how much civilization is even left. Also how the hell is the cold war going to play out with each countries nuclear arsenal eliminated? I know they could build more but you can't tell me the next ten years of world history is going to play out the same after that. We better get at least a line in the next one addressing the cold war resolution or lack there of.

I think instead of a coldwar countries may band together for the sentinel program, and rebuilding of the world as we do not know how much is destroyed. With Stryker working with a sinister sort of fellow....

The only conclusion I can think of about Apocalypse and the last fight is that he didn't want to kill the X-men. That once he took control of Charles and did the transfusion, he would mind control them into doing his bidding. I mean to me he was still super powerful. He didn't expect Super powered Magneto and super powered Storm to switch sides last minute. I think some people are underestimating how Strong Xavier's mind is and the fact Apoc whooped his butt so easily show's how powerful he is. Not to mention how much power he had to use to build his bubble to block super charged Magneto while defeating Charles. The fact it took Super charged Magneto, Super Charged Storm, ole one eye, and Phoenix Jean to break him should speak of how powerful he is.

    however...

Let's count how many powers he forgets he has in this sequence.

Firstly, he could just teleport away. When phoenix starts melting his face, he could just leave and re-plan. It's not like Charles is the only telepath in the world.

He could also *trivially* kill them all. You saw when he built the pyramid that he could build a miles-high structure in under a minute - once he decided the xmen were a threat they should have all been buried neck deep in stone - let's remember, he doesn't even have to kill them to do this, ala the thug at the beginning who is clearly alive for at least a while. bury them in stone, take charle's body, boom, world domination.

He could kill them all with animated sand, like three of the thugs chasing storm. He's strong enough to just punch them to death. He could do whatever the hell he does when he is woken up at the beginning of the film where he blast several thousand tons of rock to powder with weird purple energy.

Yes, holding off the whole team took power but he's displayed vastly, vastly more power than that.

Oh, plus he has wolverine or near wolverine level regenerative ability. He didn't need that fire defence against magneto, he could likely just tank it while killing people.

But who says he wants to actually kill them? Like I said he could have easily killed them, but he showed he didn't want to kill them. He didn't snap Ravens neck, he didn't send Summers into the ground. Just two instances where he could have easily killed them. He did at the end try to teleport away he had the purple bubble pop but storms electricity trumped it. Apocalypse's greatest downfall ironically was super-charging his horsemen.

I agree the movie was okay, not good not bad, just okay. Still worth the discounted ticket price I got. The time jump between movies is starting to get a bit odd though since several of the actors from first class still look the exact same twenty years later. The shape-shifter gets a pass but as for everyone else shame on fox for not at least attempting to make havoc look older than a teenager when he should be in his late thirties and the same for magneto, Beast, and professor X. It could be argued that Fassbender now looks the appropriate age for his character and didn't look young enough in the first movie, It never sat well for me in first class that he was supposed to be a similar age to Charles when there is clearly a 10 to 15 year age gap there which is super weird considering the two actors are only 2 years apart. And the age thing is only going to get worse considering the next movie is set an additional ten years later.
The quicksilver scene elevated the whole movie to an acceptable level. If it didn't have that scene or if it wasn't as awesome as it was I would have thought different of the movie as a whole. The whole side quest at Striker's compound could have been cut with nothing lost to the movie. As much as I love Hugh Jackman wolverine didn't need to be in this movie and I can't help but feel like the 15-20 minutes spent there could have been better spent getting to know some of the less developed characters. Jubilee is once again in the movie but does basically nothing which is disappointing.

I love the new costumes they all get at the end, its finally something like the comics. It is a bit disappointing that they are only used in the final shot and we don't get to see them in action yet.

That's a good point about Havoc and characters who have been in all three movies. I forgot that it's been 20 years of timeline between the trilogy.

I liked it but didn't love it, it's nowhere near as good as Days of the Future Past. The Ten-year gap I thought was too long, they really didn't follow up anything from Days because of the gap. The movie felt more of a stand-alone movie then part of the trilogy. Micheal Fassbender and Evan Peters were excellent though!

Also the little clip at end-credits has me REALLY EXCITED.

So is Tony left with just Vision and Spider Man on his side? It seemed Black Window bounced, Black Panther helped Captain America at the end, maybe setting up for Tony making an Army of Ironman Suits, without alien technology?

Word up to everyone else who stated that not killing off War Machine was a cop-out (but in the back of my mind I was screaming "Oh god not another Black Dude Dies First" trope). They should have found a way to kill him and Bucky so that the final fight felt so much more real and raw. I got the feels from Iron Man/Robert Downey jr, but not from Captain America/Chris Evans. His desire to protect Bucky was starting to feel contrived near the end. Locate the super soldiers, oh they're dead? Turn him in so that he can be properly de-programmed.

I was really hoping (unrealistically) that they would stay true to the comic and kill Cap to have Bucky take up the mantle. It would have been an interesting and in character death for Cap to sacrifice himself for his friend. But without knowing much about Bucky it would have been stretched for movie goers if that were to happen

Also Annoyed at the forced and then immediately discarded love interest part. I feel as though Peggy's funeral and her niece kissing cap could have been left on the cutting room floor to the benefit of the movie. The bright side being they don't waste much time with either point so shrug.

It seemed redundant to bring in Ross yet also have Martin Freeman's character in there. The implication being that Freeman will be a recurring character now seems to negate Ross coming back at but I guess they wanted to remind us that Hulk's solo movie is actually canon even if they switched actors
This movie was meh to me, I enjoyed DoJ more surprisingly, as that movie had some bad flaws. Wasted potential with the "civil war" Arc, the movie should be called Winter Solider: Origins. I'm still waiting for an actual event that shakes these characters, I thought Civil War was going to deliver the shake up but nope. Such a shame because Captain America: Winter Solider is one of my favorite movies.

Half of the avengers are actual fugitives now. Scarlet witch and Visions's relationship(They are romantically involved in the comics) is severely fractured. Most of the Avengers will not be able to trust Tony again. Tony and Steve are severely at odds and Steve no longer has his shield. Short of killing several characters I am not sure how the characters could have been more shaken up honestly

I disagree, at what time did any(besides Tony) look shaken because of the events that unfolded? The way the movie ended I bet the next Avengers Tony gives Captain his shield back they hug it out, only to have something else blow up in their faces. The way the movie ended it's like nothing really happened expect Captain Dropping his shield, and the governments being really super upset with them. When the Next Avengers hits Tony is going to pick up that phone and everyone is going to be so happy to see Avengers.

I don't get the point, you have a 3/4 hexproof indestructible unblockable creature on turn 5 and you go on to lose the game? It's a lot of work for nothing, and what happens when you don't assemble this meager combo?

I would leave it as mist until you have enough for uncaged fury and flip. Flip+sword+fury= 16 damage, pretty nasty. With the orginal flip you could cast fiery temper and hopefully something else happened before the start of the combo to get the remaining life.

Good catch, unleash the beast on t4. I just wonder how to get a deck, I like the combo and everything, but we need another win condition.

    Nasty combo:

    T1: neglected heirloom
    T2: Heir of Falkenrath
T3: Flip, attack and cast this sweetnessUncaged Fury

Uncaged fury could be massive, maybe some rouge passages?

    I really like it.
